Works great! Love the way it latches shut. It kept things cool for a 12 hr car ride! Coleman’s are well worth the price in our opinion! Stickers did not stay on it though. Not too heavy and much more room then a yeti that is a similar size

    • Terrible quality, no packaging, dented an scratched on arrival for each order.
No Packaging for this, 2 to 3 inch clearances on all side an no packaging to keep it in the middle. Unheard of in the packaging business. I worked on Alan Mullally's team and you would be fired the next day he read a review like this. If you don't know who he is look it up. This Coleman Cooler is built so cheap it's going to be dented and scratched within a day's use. The powder finish scratches immediately in shipping because the don't include any packaging protection. I was blown away because I have bought Coleman coolers for 45 years. They have tried 2 orders recently and they have proven to me that they now longer care about quality even though they raised their prices 4 times. I will be surprised if they don't let a couple people go over this. They have ruined their line of once highly respected cooler line. I will be tough to get customers back at this point for anyone who has received one of these. You are talking nearly $300 with tax and it is a piece of crap. I am done with Coleman. Buy an Igloo. I just got mine and it is of the old Coleman quality. Both their finishing Team manager and their packaging managers should be fired. Bought for my husband for Christmas last year. It’s the perfect cooler for parties, beach days, and weekends out of town. Kept beers and sodas cold for 3 days after our last party. And it’s sturdy enough to sit on. The size is perfect for what we use it for, and the built-in bottle opener is super convenient. It’s definitely not the cheapest cooler you can get, but the quality of it is excellent. Great alternative to some of the more expensive ice chests out there. I would hit 5 stars, but there's 2 minor things preventing me from doing so. 1) The (lock) doesn't actually lock. If a baby tried to push it open, it might not be strong enough to, but I can easily pop it off the latch. I don't know how strong a racoon is but that's why I invested in the lock feature. 2) It was delivered with scuff marks that aren't coming off. However it is a cooler made for the outdoors so scuffs & dents are inevitable. ... show more

Bought mine 2 years ago as a warehouse deal for $140ish. Seeing a lot of people mention scratches and dents that they disliked when it arrived but I purchased the cooler for that reason. Unlike the plastic shell ones that crack when they get dropped, all this does is get dented and scuffed. I keep it in my truck year round as it’s the designated beverage cooler at hockey games with the occasional camping. The claim of ice for 4 days is iffy as during the cooler months it would last up to a week but in direct Sun in the summer, it’ll hold for about a day. So good cookout/overnight camping cooler that’ll last a while. The only thing I’d suggest is making sure you leave it unlocked as not too many people understand locks and would yank on the handle making the aluminum split a bit from the plastic interior. But some gorilla glue and empty capri Sun bag (pictured) fixes that and it’ll be good to go. ... show more
