Designed to withstand rugged outdoor conditions, this tent is constructed from durable Polyguard fabric that endures seasons of use. • Nice tent
I did a lot of reading of reviews before I chose this tent. There are so many options out there it was confusing which I should focus on. This tent didn't have the most reviews but they were all positive. I gave up some options for the size and center height and so far, I'm not disappointed with my choice. We took this camping once and did a trial set-up at home before our trip. The second time setting up was quicker and I'm sure this will get easier with practice. It is fairly easy to set up (about 15 minutes with two people for main tent and additional time for fly and guide lines). My only complaint is not knowing the correct way to initially raise the first set of poles. It worked best for us if someone stands in the middle and raises the center over their head, allowing the second person to start setting the poles to the tent. Not sure how a single person manages setting this up without putting undue stress on the fiberglass poles. The tent is very roomy. There are windows everywhere so ventilation is great. The zippers work very easily. Tents have come a long way since our last purchase. The light works well and is very convenient. The fan works but I'm not sure how effective it will be. The temperature while camping was cool. I didn't buy this tent for the fan. Best of all, it rained and rained and we kept absolutely dry. We didn't have any driving rains so i'm not sure how this holds up in wind. Packing up the tent was also no issue. And with a whisk broom and terry towel, the moisture quickly dried on the fly and sides of the tent, avoiding having to set the tent up at home to air out. As we folded the tent for packing, we also were able to dry the tent floor. We used a ground cover so the bottom outside flooring was clean and not very damp. We had a queen mattress, two chairs and small table, gear and plenty of room to move. My husband is 6'6" so the selling point for us is the height of this tent which is fairly constant through the entire tent. It's a keeper. ... show more

  • Nice Tent Highly Recommended
I have obligation to write a review on this fantastic product. We got 15 families camping together in Cape Cod recently. This tent was simply the best one we had on the group site! It was much better than others, worth every penny. Pros: High quality material Tall and plenty of room, we put two queue-size air mattresses, still very spacious. Absolutely rain proof. Got heavily rain the first day, but nothing happened to my family at all. bright LED ceiling light and fan (high-low speed). I hooked it with a 6.6V 4600mAH A123 LiFe battery pack, and it run forever. switch with night light can be separated into two rooms A lots of windows Easy setup (took about 15-20 minutes for 2-person the first time) and storage (15 minutes for one person) Cons: Due to the shape and height, it may not very stable for strong gust if you open windows only on one side. May be tricky for one person to set it up, especially for the first time user, but I think it is still manageable in 45-60 minutes. ... show more

  • Perfect for a family!
First I must say we are seasoned tent campers. I have owned many tents and Coleman is the best for the price you pay. I have slept in tents at the beach, in the woods and in campgrounds for vacations and weekend trips my whole life. Now that we are about to have our third child we needed more room to sleep and store our stuff. This tent is replacing a Coleman two room tent that is still working great and has been used hundreds of times in the past 7 years. It's just too small now. I choose not to invest in a camper until they are easier and cheaper and more convenient than this tent. I have a feeling that won't happen for a very long time. Our kids are 5 and under (due to have number three any week now) and the five yr old and 16 month old were crazy about this tent. I only got to use this one time this summer due to our crazy schedule. I was pregnant so my Daddy and brother set it up for me and said it was very easy. I helped take it down and was very impressed with how easy it was and how roomy the bag is that it goes into...it's very forgiving unlike some that require you to squish it down into an impossibly small size just to fit it into the bag. It did not rain on our trip but Coleman tents do very well in the rain from my past experience. The overhead light set up was VERY convenient at night...it was wonderful to switch on a light as I walked in the door. The fan was pretty useless, but it was a nice thought on Colemans part. I easily fit a queen double high air mattress, a pack n play, a twin size air mattress, a bedside table and all of our bags into this tent with plenty of room to spare. I did not have to bend over to walk through the door or walk around inside the tent....that right there makes it my dream tent!! It will be very well ventilated for spring summer and fall camping, there are windows all around. I do not camp in the winter, period. If you love tent camping under the stars and want your kids to enjoy that kind of childhood, then I cannot recommend this one enough. I cannot speak for longevity as we bought it summer of 2014, but the room and convenience are amazing. ... show more

  • Best. Tent. Ever!
Worth every penny. So much room it's like having our own hotel room. We spend race weekends at Texas Motor Speedway and have used this tent twice now. Easy to set up. Easy to take down. When it rained, everyone in our camp area brought their chairs inside. Easily accommodated 8 adults/chairs for dinner. Over 6' high inside. Light is awesome. Fan is great for circulation. Holds up to Texas spring storms perfectly. No longer looking for a small RV. Love it!!! Update: Have used the tent 5 times now. The plastic piece that holds the lamp/fan to the ceiling is broken so we have to take a lamp, but the tent itself has been fabulous. First time setting it up took 2 people but after that it was easily a 1-man job, even in the dark and with a pretty strong wind. Still love it and recommend it to anyone I hear talking about camping! ... show more
