  • Everything you need to know
Color: Black Style: Roadtrip 225 Portable Tabletop
Easiest grill I've ever cleaned. The instructions say to put water in the drip pan, the drip pan is the entire inside around the elements. It just lifts right out and is easy to dump, and just wipes clean. The cast iron grill is solid in the center over the burner elements so nothing can fall through the grill onto the elements, keeping them clean as well, and providing a grill pan surface in the center of the grill that nothing can fall through. It got quite hot quite fast but the outer edge was cooler than I would prefer, but that's how most any gas grill is. It is enameled cast iron so you can't use metal spatulas, tongs or wire brushes ets on it, so I used the silicone tipped tongs, and sharp ended wooden Spatula, silicone Spatula and long wooden Chef's chopsticks. I used a Lodge Cast Iron brush and some salt to brush it down, then added water and brushed some more and then it wiped clean. You don't need to season it. The grill plates are dishwasher safe but it is easy enough to clean before you put it away. You just wipe down inside the lid and the inside is clean. I used to have to wipe up all the drippings and grease in my previous portable Grills before putting in the car. The grates cool pretty quickly. It's way lighter than an all cast iron hibachi like Lodge makes. The experience isn't quite as good as raw cast iron, but since it's Portable the ease of cleaning is by far worth the difference, especially for long road trips etc. I used a 40" plastic hooked bungee cord to wrap around it and keep the lid closed. Just tie an overhand knot or two in it to make it the right size. The regulator is supposed to be unscrewed before putting it away so it has a long grip to unscrew it with making it much more compact than smaller cheaper Grills that have the regulator attached way inside the grill. I put the regulator in a small soft bag, and the utensils in a fabric shopping bag wrapped with a plastic hooked bungee and put it on the grill plates then bungee it closed. The whole thing fits in a standard Ikea bag to make it easy to carry. The burners are inner ring and outer ring, not left and right, which is quite perfect for this grill since the inner would just heat the center plate slightly, since the grill plates are divided into 2/3 on one side and 1/3 on the other. I like the ridge divider between the two, as I can avoid cross contamination easier. Great grill, I like the fact that the legs are long stationary rails that you don't have to fold. The cast iron, though enameled, still cooks better than anything not cast iron, and is clean and oil free unlike raw cast iron ... show more

I cant believe we've waited so long to get this Coleman. So well made! We have a big gas bbq and a charcoal bbq which are fine for summer and bigger bbq parties but for quick grilling the Coleman is the bomb! Looking forward to using it when we go RVing.

  • Fantastic Tabletop Propane Grill!
Color: Black Style: Roadtrip 225 Portable Tabletop
I recently purchased the Tabletop Propane Grill, and I must say, it has been a great addition to my outdoor cooking arsenal. While I can't quite give it a perfect 5-star rating, it's certainly close! First off, the assembly was a breeze. The instructions were clear and straightforward, and I had it up and running in no time. I appreciate how compact and portable this grill is; it's the perfect size for our small patio, and I can easily take it on camping trips or picnics. The grilling performance is impressive. It heats up quickly and evenly, allowing for consistent cooking every time. The temperature control is precise, making it easy to sear steaks, grill vegetables, or cook delicate seafood with confidence. Plus, the grates are non-stick, which makes clean-up a breeze. I also love the convenience of the propane tank. It lasts longer than I expected, and I appreciate not having to deal with charcoal or messy cleanup. The built-in thermometer on the lid is a nice touch, ensuring that I always grill my food to perfection. The reason I couldn't give it a full 5 stars is that I wish it had a bit more cooking space. While it's great for a small gathering or family meal, it might be a tad small if you regularly host larger gatherings. In summary, this Tabletop Propane Grill is a fantastic addition to any outdoor cooking setup. It's easy to use, portable, and delivers excellent grilling results. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable grill for smaller gatherings and outings. ... show more

  • Daddy likey
Color: Black Style: Roadtrip 225 Portable Tabletop
Exactly what I wanted when I bought it - small & portable, but still has plenty of BTU, and is easy to clean. I really like that it gets hot fast, and that there is a center section of grill surface where the burners are protected from runoff, so I can cook fatty things without burning the meat in flames. I loved that I didn't have to put it together except for adding the propane arm. The quality seems great, it started up as soon as I pressed the button.

  • This...is...AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Color: Red Style: Roadtrip 225 Portable Tabletop
I am an applied physicist with a PhD and I have spent some recent years developing very advanced heat treating equipment. This is an EXTREMELY well designed unit with some clever features that support my faith in American ingenuity and the engineering discipline in general. I bought this on the recommendation of a trusted friend and co-worker who happens to be one of the best technicians I know. So he knows good hardware when he sees it. I also bought it because my other grill is one that I abuse very heavily by doing 800F cooks so it gets friggin' DESTROYED for regular grilling in a number of ways. I can't say yet if it is durable and long lasting but my technician brobuddy vouches for it hard core. He got the one on a wheeled stand and honestly I probably will get that as well. Best features are the grill is heavy construction and cleverly configured to prevent direct drip of fat onto the burner. On my high heat unit I actually prefer that cuase it helps drive the temp up to dangerous levels...but for this unit I wanted the opposite effect and it is really really great how this works so well especially given the small footprint. Well done Coleman, well done America and well done engineers in general. The best purchase I have made for a very very long time. ... show more
