Coleman has Quickly Risen to the Top of our Tent game
Style: 10-person
These Coleman tents offer a more sturdy design and weather readiness that department store brands skimp on, hence the higher cost. For instance the power cord port has a zipper instead of a velcro slot that never stays closed. I find the Coleman to be more wind resistant, while still offering good ventilation. The setup is speedy, allowing for more time to setup the perfect temporary living space, and the breakdown is just as easy with some gentle care to brush of any dirt before before wrapping it up. The bag is also superior compared to other brands we've owned and makes for an easy wrapping of the tent rather than trying to stuff it into a bag. More expensive but may be worth it in the long run for the added quality. We purchased an even larger model as well.

Coleman Really Let Me Down
The Coleman Skylodge Instant Tent's promise of a quick and easy setup was overshadowed by its poorly constructed support poles. One snapped in half during assembly and the poles' tendency to get stuck while telescoping only added to the frustration. Barely getting the structure to stand, I managed to make it work for one day, until it completed failed the next day. This situation left me stranded in the woods without shelter for two days. Adding insult to injury, a massive rainstorm completely soaked all my camping gear, which was stored inside. This tent's unreliability turned a camping trip into a disaster. Not recommended.

Super Easy to Use
Style: 10-person
I can not wait to use this tent this season. It was so easy to put together and I love that the directions are printed right on the bag. The only downside is that it is rather bulky to store and can not store upright, I find that is has to lay down.

A little disappointed
UPDATED REVIEW: From my former review youll see i was initially OK with this product. However, after taking it down and folding it up 4 times with no issues, on the 5th time folding it up one of the corners tore out on the floor. It wasn't because I didn't know what I was doing as I had folded it previously without problems. This is the second coleman tent to fall apart after just a few uses in the same year. No more coleman for me! Overall I love this tent. It is big enough for myself, 2 dogs, and all the stuff. Super simple to set up as well. Do check the instructions to make it easier on yourself. Now for the disappointment. This is the first time I have used the tent in the rain. 90% dry. Yay. However, the side seams do leak a little and every once in a while I get a drip from above. I can only assume there is a seam letting through a few drops in the rain fly as well. Overall I am happy. The dogs have plenty of room to stretch out so that's a plus. I would purchase this again if I was looking for another.

Easy to install and so pretty!

Not waterproof and poor build quality, but easy to set up and spacious
Style: 8-person
Starting with the good - This tent is very spacious and comfortable with a high ceiling and large openings. It's also very easy to set up - takes 10 minutes or less the first time and once you have the hang of it, probably only 2-3 minutes. And the bad - most importantly, the tent is not waterproof at all, even with fly correctly installed. Water beads at the base of the window panels and seeps through the seams. After one night of light rain, we had multiple puddles on the floor and anything touching the walls was at least damp if not outright soaking. The build quality was not horrible, but also sub-par - one of the pre-attached poles arriving twisted, requiring it to be forced back into alignment. Additionally, the design of the way it folds up forces any dirt/moisture from the bottom to go to towards the center, making it very difficult to keep clean.

Easiest set up/take down ever!
Style: 8-person
We have tent camped for years and this is the best tent we have ever had! I can’t believe how fast it went up and came back down. We loved the huge windows! We are very happy with this tent!

Gentle rain and the walls cry
Style: 10-person
Used the tent for the first time, setup was quick several poles did not slide out and got stuck many times. Gentle rain that night and the walls cried leaving puddles and wet pillows and sleeping bags. Seams are not sealed... get some seam sealant!
