The handle of the AD-10 is likewise strong and user friendly, with heat-treated, full-length aluminum liners, 3D machined G-10 scales, and oversized pins and bolts; it fits snugly and securely in the hand due to its precise contouring and integral finger guard. No folder would be complete without a reliable locking mechanism, so we have incorporated Andrews famous Tri-Ad lock. Its been proven over time to be unsurpassed in strength, shock resistance and durability, and offers unrivaled protection for your irreplaceable fingers. I f%$&*!@ love this knife. Rock solid lockup bank vault. Extremely smooth action basically drop shut on bronze/teflon washers. Came razor sharp. Ergos like all Andrew demkos are amazing but its better than the ad15, ad20, ad20.5. This thing melts in my hand being slightly thinner than a regular ad10. The absolute pinnacle of folding knives. This is undoubtedly my favorite knife in my collection. When you hold this nine ounce knife in your hand, it makes you feel like you're holding the first real knife you've ever felt. It's just an absolute tank of a knife. The first thought that came to my mind was, "My knife can beat up your knife." LOL The action, despite being on washers and having a triad lock is stunning. Drop shut action right out of the box. It's not out of question to say this is a one hand operable knife. It's very well made to excellent tolerances. Having paid just over 200 dollars, I feel like I stole it. Even at the full price of 400, it's still an amazing buy. The 3V blade is just sublime. It sharpens to an absolute hair splitting edge with very little effort. I typically finish with a 600 grit diamond stone and strop to a smooth edge. I carry this knife every day, and it's the pride and joy of my collection. I received number 787. ... show more

Blade doesn’t hold an edge any better than a 40 dollar Walmart knife, maybe worse. Bad steel ? Scratches with your finger nail. Way too much money, even with the demko name.

The media could not be loaded. This is an absolute beast of a knife. This is like the original X3. This is the limited edition titanium AD10. Absolutely stunning. The 3V super steel is very tough due to why Demko chose it. Try good edge retention, and do the size of this knife like CS fashion super sharp. The edge retention is great on this knife, I wa very surprised how well it did for the size of the blade. It kept an edge for super long time. I seen another reviewer on here trash this knife and said the blade steel was as good as a Walmart knife. Idk about that maybe he got a cheap Chinese knockoff. The steel is exceptional. I don’t think Demko would put his name in trash. 3V is one of his favorite steels. It has all the same qualities of the original, but slightly heavier. This is the 3rd and last iteration of this knife. There were two more before this one. Great TI scales satin blade. Black TI scales and a satin blade, and now this one. This is my favorite version. I think Amazon is the only one that has this final version left. CS & Midway USA both sold out of them. So if your thinking about getting one pull the trigger now, will make a great gift for yourself at Christmas. ... show more
