These counter height stools are remarkably well made. The fit and finish of the wooden pieces (all solid wood frame) and upholstery is uniformly excellent. Assembling is a piece of cake if you are handy, and only a slight headache if you are not. There are a lot of screws! That's a good thing (going back to that sturdy thing). Even nicer is that the pieces all fit together perfectly. The screws seat well. A drill/driver is super helpful. Out of all the screws (I assembled four chairs) only one stripped out, and I substituted a slightly fatter screw from my garage and all was well. The stools are quite comfortable. They are solid but not overly heavy. My only disappointment was that I expected the upholstery to be light gray from the description, but it is actually beige. Not a big deal, and the description doesn't actually say the upholstery color is gray. Overall, I am thrilled with the quality and the value of these stools. One suggestion I have is to purchase plastic rung protectors. It feels so natural to sit down and rest your feet on the front and/or side rungs of the stools, which have a nice painted finish but will, I'm sure, not hold up to foot traffic. You will need three protectors per stool. I purchased the Tugaizi 12 piece rigid clear plastic slip-on chair rung protectors from Amazon and they fit perfectly after trimming to length with scissors.

UPDATE: The company has contacted me multiple times to see how to help. They eventually ended up sending me 2 new chairs to replace the 2 that broke. I’ll update once the issue is resolved ** I contacted the company after the chairs we received were very unstable. They ended up falling apart after about a month because of the instability even after putting them together correctly and have all of the screws tightened. The customer service so far has been giving ways to “fix” the problem, however this set of chairs seem completely defective. I’m honestly just really disappointed because these were the perfect chairs for our counter and it’s only been one month that we’ve had them! Other than the instability and the fact that they fell apart after a month, they looked great when they were first built.

I was worried about buying these chairs at less than $100 per chair, but I watched another customers review and was convinced to take the risk. These chairs are super sturdy and well made. They match an Ashley table I ordered on Amazon, and although the chairs do not have a distressed finish and the table does, they look great together. The upholstery is off-white - slightly beige and is nice woven fabric which we scotch guarded immediately. If you look closely at the photo, you’ll notice stretchy clear vinyl floor protectors around the legs - they have felt pads on the bottom which eliminates the noise and scraping on your floor. These were on another customer’s review and ordered on Amazon. They are worth ordering! Thank you for all the reviews on this chair and product Amazon! My husband assembled them easily and quickly - he is a carpenter and had no complaints. I could not be more satisfied with these chairs and highly recommend.

Ordered 4 chairs. Pleasantly surprised at how solid they are and look beautiful. 2 of the chair backs had slight imperfections on the back. Perhaps some wood glue from manufacturing? If they were not noticeable wouldn’t have bothered reaching out to customer service. I did reach out and they replied quickly, they asked for pictures and within 24 hours said they were sending new chairs. Hope they arrive soon. The fabric is beautiful and I will spray with a stain retardant. I think it would be fairly easy to change the fabric if you wanted to. The chairs seemed a little wobbly at first but then realized 2 of the legs had feet that were adjustable. I removed the feet and added felt bottoms as I prefer that on my hardwoods. Highly recommend the chairs and the company.

Ordered a 4 piece set and only received a set of 2. Got a refund and ordered a 2 piece set and it came missing the front legs. Called the number they provided to Amazon for customer support and it rang a couple times and then went to a voicemail that sounded like a cell phone voicemail. I will not buy from this seller again. The positive side and why I gave 3 stars and not 1 is that the 2 I did receive and put together (fairly easily I might add) are very nice and sturdy. They are exactly what I wanted, just couldn't seem to get the number of them I want.
