This is my first ebike purchase. I went to many different stores shopping around for the best deal but all I could find were ebikes priced between $2000 and $5000. When i went onto Amazon I found many that were in my price range but was very skeptical about buying a $900.00 bike that seemed to have more power, features etc than the expensive bikes.     • Very tall bike not for short to average height

I bought this bike for my husband for Christmas.He assembled it in one afternoon. He states it has a lot of power and goes up hills easily. Even fairly steep ones. He is more then satisfied with the speed and power of the motor. Frame is sturdy, battery power and endurance seem to be good, but we discovered not to leave it out on the porch when it’s cold or it drains even a fully charged battery. I chose the green and black as It’s a very sharp looking color. The drawbacks are, the height of the bar right in front of the seat. It is so tall that you can’t jump off the seat and straddle touch the ground without hitting your, em…., private parts on the bar. My hubby is 5’8” and he has to tip the bike sideways to dismount. In my opinion, you really should be around 6’ + to be able to dismount the bike the normal way. I’m 5’6” and can’t even mount the bike while it’s standing straight up. While straddling it, I have to stand on tip toes and even then my pubic bone is on the bar. I should have paid more attention to this when I read the listing. I believe the height requirement was mentioned but, said minimum 5’4” so read the details in the listing. I’m sure the 4” tires have something to do with the height as well. If I ever decide to get an e mountain bike for myself, it will be a step through style. I won’t even attempt to ride this one. Overall my husband really enjoys riding it and other than a few minor things like a broken headlight upon delivery and striped screws for the book rack in the back, he is satisfied with it and rides it most every day. ... show more

Bike arrived early and in one piece no holes or dents in box.Assembly was easy and charged battery brought tires up to 20 lbs.went for test ride and to my surprise no problems,but rode hard.took the tires down 4 pounds and rode much softer , so far happy with my purchase.

The rider height listed is in error. I an 5 foot 7 and cannot strandle the top tube so it's not a good fit for me to ride safely. The components are first rate and it's a quality ebike and a great value. I had it professionally assembled for 100.00. The value is an exceptional deal with 2000 watts between the twin motors. So far I have put about 40 miles on it and it rides great. Top speed is 31mph and riding around at various speeds I estimate battery life is about 30 miles, but I do like to go fast both on the road and off.

This bike arrived on time and well packaged.Forget the assembly instructions, I don’t know what they are assembling. There were some generic videos, but none showed removing a spacer in the front wheel brake caliper. To put the front wheel on I removed the caliper. Made it easy. I charged it overnight and rolled it outside. The bike is very rugged looking and intimidating to a 75 year old guy, also very heavy. You have 21 gears, but only need 5. Leave the chain on the largest front sprocket then no need to touch that shifter again! This bike flies and is a blast going through our challenging mountain bike trails. Having a powerful motor in the front wheel makes a big difference. The 4” wide off road tires will take you down the road at 35 and through the trails. I love it and so does my son. I never mentioned that for $899. it is a tremendous value. 48 volt and 2000watt power is unmatched. ... show more

Shipped with broken fender, had to communicate with automated questions and responses. I depend on these bikes as primary transportation, the battery life is not as described so the range is nowhere close to advertisement. Top speed listed as 30/35, in my first ride it's maximum on flat ground is 28. Front motor sounds like it's going to burn up under load. Spending over one thousand dollars shouldn't come damaged. Be more honest about range and speed. I'm not a heavy person so I question the wattage. Disappointed. ... show more
