This product is no good!!!! The first one I bought it lasted for a little while and then would not turn on when I went to use it. Amazon was able to send me a replacement quick and easy but then the second one I received looked like it was a refurbished one and lasted for a little while longer but it began shutting off on it's own intermittently wich was very frustrating!!!! This time I was past the return time so Amazon refunded the money. The battery does not last 5hrs as stated the battery lasted 30 mins max on both models I recieved. Garbage product and a waste of my hard earned money and valuable time. Never ever buy this microscope especially for coins!!!!! ... show more

Easy to use. There are some instances where the lighting and focus are unable to capture a picture of small planchet cracks visible under jewellers loupe. Some issue of depth and angles I suppose. Gift for husband: he indicates: Magnification/zoom could be better (in terms of depth perception). Relatively easy to use—would be better if all controls were in front, not some in front, others on the side. Overall, for the price, this is great coin microscope for the beginner collector.

    • Zoom not good for slides.
Zoom function is limited. Can see as well as the naked eye but closer. Can not see in-depth. Good for looking at bugs or coins like a magnifying glass.
