    • Crummy instructions. Complete kit. Generous 500 ml bottles.
The instructions were not sufficiently clear on several aspects of the process: I learned/realized by doing that the cartridges have tiny pinholes in the middle of some tiny circular indentions embossed on the top of the cartridge: THAT's where you should drill the holes, by simply enlarging them to accommodate the included needles. The included hand drill was too slow; I used a 1/16" drill bit in an electric drill. Don't drill more than the thickness of the plastic cartridge case or your bit will become entangled in the fibrous stuffing. The instructons imply, for example, that you can add 25 ml to an XL black cartridge; in my experience, it's more like 18 ml. When I finally figured out that the green silicone things were intended to fit into the bottom of the holder clamp thing, I was able to insert a syringe without needle to draw out 1-2 ml of ink. The instructions say this is to remove bubbles, and perhaps it does, but in my experience this step primes the printhead by sucking out air, drawing ink all the way to the printhead. I bought this kit to refill 245 cartridges for a friend, so I have not used these cartridges myself. I've done lots of ink cartridge refills on HP & Canon in my day, so I have no reason to think refilling these won't work well. ... show more

I read the review and thought this would be wonderful… they even provide a drill for you to use… great…. The drill is small than my pinky! What am I supposed to do with this? You are drilling a hole into hard plastic… hard plastic… I eventually got into the plastic shell of the cartridge…. Maybe 15 minutes by attaching it to my screwdriver…. Now I have to make 3 more holes for the color…. On the POSITIVE side… you do get a lot of ink for this price…. Soooo maybe just “drill” with it… lol ... show more

I watched a video on how to refill my cartridge, took like 5 mins. Honestly for how much ink you get and the the product coming with all the pieces to actually perform the refill, it's a sweet deal and a huge money saver.

    • Did not work for me. Spent several days, watched dozens of videos, tried all methods.
Very light invisible printing for a few papers and then no printing at all. I made sure I fill catridges with recommended amount of ink. Even did suctioning with syringe from the bottom, discarded few drops of ink, and tried printing several papers for better flow of ink but still it did not work.

Very easy to use. The only problem is there are no directions in the box. A simple google and a video was available.
