Accurate and pretty straightforward to put together. Parts are bagged in 1-2-3 and mark in the instructions to make it easier to stay organized. Tracks and wood logs are little tricky to put together. The Tracks snap together, and the wood logs have studs and a rubber strap. Tracks roll, but not as easily as I would like. Turret spins and gun moves up and down. Commander's hatch on turret and engine hatches open. driver and radioman hatches open, but there's little space between the hatches and the turret and gun. The driver and radioman hatches are smaller than the Cobi M4AE2 hatches. Barrel holder swings but the holder isn't large enough to snap it into place. A little larger and detailed than the Cobi M4AE2 Jumbo Sherman. Overall, pretty happy with the way it came out.

Summary: A beautiful kit, with lots of surprising details and good proportions. A little harder to assemble than Lego, but very consistent part quality. So a while back, I thought I'd finally found some decent "Lego" tanks. Turns out, tho, that Brick Armory is just selling Chinese knock-offs, which, while looking nice, are a pain in the fingers to put together, and often of inconsistent part quality. Having tried two of those kits (I'd wanted the Panzer IV, but my dad got me the Tiger, thinking it an upgrade), I decided to add some Allies to the collection, and I started with the Sherman Easy 8. Aside from tight part fitment being relatively hard on the fingers, and some tediously frustrating tracks, the final product is on par with anything Lego has made. The turret has good elevation in addition to unobstructed traverse rotation. The little machine guns- a 30-cal and 50-cal- are also turreted. The Sherman has several opening hatches, and you can even open the hood to see the engine. The tracks are fully articulated. In terms of detail, there's a lot of effort put in to making the suspension look nice, even if it doesn't actually move. The aforementioned engine is a simple affair, but I appreciate that it's brick-built instead of custom-molded. To reflect its status as an Easy Eight, this late-war Sherman even has some logs and sandbags attached to the sides in the hopes of softening incoming blows. The front armor even has several spare parts mounted to it. The mini-figures look a little odd, but this may be because I'm used to Lego's blockier figures, and Cobi's soldiers come well-painted and decently accessorized. It's still a shame Lego won't do military kits, but until that changes, Cobi is doing really good work to fill that gap. Will definitely consider their T-34-85 to give my Chinese-made Germans some more unwanted company. Here's to a bigger Churchill kit in the future, too!

One of the first ever Lego kits I’ve assembled. This experience was actually pretty fun considering how amusing it was assembling the pieces. Considering how expansive other Lego sets are, the price was worth paying. I’m definitely buying more products made by this same company in the future considering my deep interest in US History.

This is one of if not the best building brick tank set out there, there aren’t any missing pieces and they all fit together nicely! The quality is on par with legos and I’m looking forward to expanding my collection.

the Sherman is my favorite tank of All and I'm happy cobi finally made a model of it I assembaled it in 2 day while taking breaks and I'm very happy with the set it is accurate and the only sketchy part are the wheels if you pu t any pressure on them they will collapse and fall off, all though it is an easy fix if you have spare lego parts

Our 8 year old loves Cobis. When he was surprised by it, he went right to work, spending hours. This was on his list of Cobis to do. He patiently put together. Then at the end the wheel broke off and tread assembly became impossible to attach. Again and again, frustration. Both he and his Dad could not rectify any way. They will find some glue to attach. This is totally unsatisfactory.
