Features 8
- ADVANCED LASER TECHNOLOGY: Boasting truly advanced laser rangefinding capabilities, weve pioneered technology trusted by NASA and by tour players across the globe. Cobalt is the result of over 25 years of rangefinding technology and a new standard in the golf industry.
- REPEATABLE, CONSISTENT PERFORMANCE: Designed for maximizing your game and for providing flexibility, the Q-6 Slope Rangefinder harnesses precise Slope technology. Built around premium optics and an integrated Brilliant Projection Display, the Q-6 Slope is our recommended rangefinder for those looking for the ultimate ranging tool. Whether youre a pro or seasoned amateur, the Q-6 is designed for serious golfers.
- SMARTSWITCH: Weve created the first ever SmartSwitch, an all-in-one user interface developed to quickly and easily engage slope or non-slope modes, adjust display brightness, and change the unit of measure. No more fumbling around with complicated or time-consuming menu navigation.
- BRILLIANT PROJECTION DISPLAY WITH PREMIUM GLASS: The Q Series features a multi-stage brightness level display for variable lighting conditions. With 80% light transmission, The Q-6 is the brightest rangefinder in the industry. 7x magnification is optimized for enough power to view your target all while offering a stabilized hold.
- PINSENSE WITH SURGE: Eliminate target acquisition guesswork. PinSense easily distinguishes the pin from the background, filters out obstructions, and provides a visual lock-on. Once the lock and distance have been acquired, Surge automatically activates, initiating an audible and haptic vibration response. For difficult flags, Q-6 scanning technology further simplifies ranging. Together, these features provide visible, physical, and aural feedback so you can be confident in your ranging.
- WATERPROOF, FOG PROOF & SHOCK RESISTANT: All Cobalt rangefinders have an IPX7 waterproofness certification, are fully sealed and purged to keep the elements out. Our compact and lightweight rangefinders are built using a durable chassis and housing - this circumvents any potential issues commonly associated with extensive rangefinder use.
- DIRECT TO CONSUMER / NO RETAIL MARKUP: We produce premium golf rangefinders without a retail markup. Because of this, we can focus on developing premium rangefinders for golfers who demand the best.
- LIFETIME WARRANTY: Stuff happens. Our warranty is about you, not us. Should any Cobalt laser rangefinder become damaged or defective such that it cant be used, we will repair or replace your Cobalt product at no charge to you. If we cannot repair your product, we will replace it with a product of equal or better physical condition.
Description
Designed for maximizing your game, the Q-6 Rangefinder is a workhorse. Built around a premium optical system, an integrated, Brilliant Projection Display, a fully adjustable diopter, and housed within a waterproof (IPX7) aluminum housing on a magnesium chassis, the Q-6 is our recommended rangefinder for those looking for a dedicated ranging tool without the added benefit of slope compensation. PinSense and Surge technologies easily distinguish the pin from background information, automatically filtering out obstructions, eliminating false readings, and providing you with a visual target lock-on. Once the lock and distance have been acquired, Surge automatically activates, initiating a haptic response in the form of a vibration. Together, these features provide visible, physical, and audible feedback so you can be confident in your ranging. With consistent, reliable ranging, you can rest assured that you choose the correct club for the shot. Includes battery, carry case, and cleaning cloth.

Top of its class rangefinder!
Model: Q6S
Was in the market for a top level rangefinder and came across some information about this company and its rangefinders. Did some research and took a chance with this top of line offering from Cobalt. I can't say enough about the quality and ease of use with this rangefinder. Easy to operate controls and the reading are extremely accurate and very fast. Optics were extremely clear and very easy to adjust with or without glasses. The Q-6 model has slope readings as well which has very handy indeed. Compared to top of the line Bushnell and Nikon, which are excellent, is every bit as good. Looks to be of very high quality construct. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone. Hope this helps.

Highest Quality Optics
Model: Q6S
Played with a semi-pro golfer who had one of these. The first time I used it, I fell in love! Crystal clear optics, aluminum body, superb accuracy. This is quality.

Almost perfect
Model: Q6S
This is the best range finder with slope on the market. At this price point it really should have come with a magnet.

Great Product and Value!
Model: Q6S
The Cobalt Q6 laser range finder w/slope is without a doubt the best performing rangefinder in its price range. It has all the features that other more expensive rangefinders have, including 7x magnification. Distances to the flag are identified quickly. Some have suggested that not seeing the actual distance and slope distance displayed at the same time is somehow a disadvantage. I disagree. Seeing only one, either slope or actual distance simplifies the read, and frankly it is that much less information you have to look for. There is no magnet, so you can’t attach the rangefinder to the golf cart frame. Well, that just means I won’t leave it stuck on the cart after my round and lose it. Sorry but there is just not a real reason to dislike this rangefinder. It is not necessary to pay more for a rangefinder. Did I mention that it has a life time warranty. Yeah, that’s right, life time.

Looks great, HOWEVER...
Model: Q6S
I love this laser, it's sturdy and looks great. HOWEVER, I notice that it seems to have a very difficult time sticking the flag on the green.... As an example... on a course I regularly play, I know within 5-10 yards the distance where my ball lies, the laser is a tool I bought for more precision because clubbing up or down could be the difference between bird, par, bogey... So I know I'm 150-160 out from the pin, but the laser returns 180-200... and 5-8 times reshooting it, it returns the same inaccurate numbers. Yes, I'm getting the vibration confirmation that it says it's locked on the pin... About the 8th or more time it'll finally get the distance correct. I'm actually really bummed out because the company says they sell direct to consumer to avoind all the overpricing of brick & mortar stores so they could invest more into making the product one of the most accurate & consistent lasers on the market. I didn't gove one care about a magnet on the side ot ANY of the useless frills the others have, I just wanted SOLID< ACCURATE & CONSISTENT. PERIOD. I'm actually REALLY disappointed, I wanted so much to love this thing but Ic an't be AT ALL confident that it'll come through when I need it most. So.... money wasted.

Defective upon arrival
Model: Q6S
I recently lost an NX9 and decided to get a Q6 slope based on positive reviews and the lifetime warranty. I was excited to open the box and test immediately. 80% of the time it did not provide ANY distance reading. And the other 20% of the time it provided totally wrong readings e.g. I pointed it toward my neighbor's car 100+ feet away and it gave a distance of 4.5 yards. Very disappointing. I immediately put it back in the box and shipped it back to Amazon for a refund. I contacted Cobalt today because I am still curious about this unit. They say it's highly unusual. So it could be just very bad luck that I got a bad unit. I may buy It directly from Cobalt or may step up to the Bushnell X3.

Worth every penny
Model: Q6S
Tried $60 $100, $200 random brands and now this rangefinder. So glad I got this one. Worth every penny. Cannot believe the optical quality - super clear. Way brighter and larger than the NX9. The flag finding function is effective- it wont buzz on a telephone pole or a tree trunk. The NX9 buzzes on everything. This product is well thought out and engineered. My only minor gripe is that there is no eyehole for a lanyard. I had to use zipties to tie one on. Need to attach an airtag. Dont want to lose this puppy!
