Description

Designed for maximizing your game, the Q-6 Rangefinder is a workhorse. Built around a premium optical system, an integrated, Brilliant Projection Display, a fully adjustable diopter, and housed within a waterproof (IPX7) aluminum housing on a magnesium chassis, the Q-6 is our recommended rangefinder for those looking for a dedicated ranging tool without the added benefit of slope compensation. PinSense and Surge technologies easily distinguish the pin from background information, automatically filtering out obstructions, eliminating false readings, and providing you with a visual target lock-on. Once the lock and distance have been acquired, Surge automatically activates, initiating a haptic response in the form of a vibration. Together, these features provide visible, physical, and audible feedback so you can be confident in your ranging. With consistent, reliable ranging, you can rest assured that you choose the correct club for the shot. Includes battery, carry case, and cleaning cloth.

  • Great rangefinder with an outstanding lifetime warranty.
Model: Non-Slope
My husband took up golf just a couple of years ago, at the encouragement of his brother who is pretty into about the sport. Since the weather has been nice they've been going out quite a bit recently, and they had a friend join them a few weeks back who had a rangefinder similar to this. They tried it out and loved it. Both went on and on about how handy they are for getting a better idea of how many yards to their target areas, so having a more accurate idea of which clubs to use . After hearing my husband and his brother discuss it for a while, looking at both cheap rangefinders and expensive ones online and wondering what the differences were, I eventually saw this one by Cobalt and decided on it. What caught my eye about this rangefinder? Their lifetime warranty. So I did some digging and went to the company site to read up on their products. One thing you'll find as you're researching which rangefinder to buy is that the cheap ones won't even have a company website that can be found. They are mass produced and then different names put onto them and sold on the marketplace for cheap. This one on the other hand is a quality rangefinder with an established company behind the name. As I was reading up on the company, I came across their warranty. In my experience everything comes with a "lifetime warranty", that's as worthless as the paper they are printed on. So I was pretty impressed when I read this on their site... "Should any Cobalt laser rangefinder become damaged or defective such that it can’t be used, we will repair or replace your unit with a product of equal or better condition at no charge. Guaranteed. Fully Transferable No warranty card or registration No receipt needed Note: does not cover loss, theft, deliberate damage, or cosmetic damage that does not hinder the performance of the product." To me, that's pretty impressive. You don't need track down receipts, a warranty card, registration information and hand over an arm, leg and your first born to get some help if you have a problem. With all that said, you're probably wondering how the rangefinder actually performs. I'm pleased to say exceptionally well. My husband and brother-in-law have been using it every time they go out and constantly gush about how awesome it is, and how much better it works than their friend's rangefinder they used some weeks back. The lens is crystal clear and the displays are easy to read. Navigation of the settings is user friendly, especially nice since my husband doesn't like anything overly complicated. The settings and everything about it is what they were looking for in a rangefinder. And the awesome thing is, we also know if there's ever an issues, we can actually get warranty help with it and not be out of luck like with most other products out there. Great product! ... show more
