I used a sharp box cutter to cut- it was a smooth cut- and I used a putty knife to smooth out the water bubbles. Take it slow and have patience, the film will flatten and have no bubbles. Easy to place on windows. Great Adhesion with following directions (spray water). The fil quality is excellent as it protects our hardwood floors, fading our furniture & helps with heat loss. Great value for the money compared to other products offered. The functionality of this product is amazing!

Purchased some of this film to block prying eyes into our home since we lived right next to a sidewalk. Install was easy enough, it did take some time for positioning and adhered well to the window. It did its job with a mirror finish on the outside. The film darkened the room significantly though, but seemed to provide enough light for my plants in the window as they kept thriving. The downside is the REMOVAL. I recommend this for the long term install because the removal process SUCKS. It left behind so much sticky residue and was insanely difficult to get off. I had to use goo gone and a scraper over almost all of the windows. It took forever, so definitely not a clean removal.

I cleaned my window thoroughly and applied the film. It looks beautiful. In a week, it started to come away from the window. I ended up taping the edges to the window in order to keep it up.
