little more difficult than I anticipated!! but I'm sure it was just me! and most will fund ir easy to install. putting it horizontal and not vertical, maybe 2 rolls would have been best. Hopefully, I will be the only one to notice the differences on windows. had to "cut and paste" to cover each window, as not made to fit horizontal!! overall, I'm pleased with it. I live on ground floor of apartment, and hopefully this will keep neighbors from looking in !!!

I used this film on a frosted bathroom window that did not offer enough privacy. The film adheres nicely, adds a contemporary spa-like feel to the bath, and was easy to apply--except for the backing which was quite difficult to separate from the film. You need sharp nails to pry it up from a cut corner. But, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this product again. Also, I've used a lot of window films in the past and have found that cutting the film with a pair of sharp scissors, not a razor, is the best way to go.

Bought 2 of these. One did not come with the film backing and did not cling to window as well as the other one that did have the extra film backing. Bought from same company but at different times. Disappointed.

The previous owner of our home had a lacy curtain over the side window of the front door. Why did it take me so long to make this change? Some of the negative comments about the difficulty of installing did this type window covering had me worried. I watched the video and read othersโ comments and this was so slick!! I cut to size first, then put the roll in warm water (itโs cold outside), separated the back liner and started at the top, smoothing out the bubbles as I worked down. Perfection!

Cut with 1/8" leeway all around. Requires some patience to start peeling the backing off...I suggest doing this step in direct sunlight. Once you have the backing off, spray both surfaces (back of film and window) with lots of water, position film, and use a good quality squeegee or a credit card to begin carefully to work all the water and air bubbles fro the center to the four edges. First time around, I had to remove film and start over a few times until I got the hang of the technique. So excited with the result. Exactly what I was hoping for. Let's in lots of light and keeps me from having to pull the shades at night.
