Ok, I’ve installed a lot of window film in my time, and this was the most difficult time I’ve had. If there is a single carpet fiber or any lint at all on this rainbow colored film, it will look bad and messy. I would advise undercutting it a tiny bit because if you hang it up and try to trim a tiny bit at the edges it will mess up the film and look wonky. Also, you’ll want to be very careful smoothing out the film as you apply it because the film can crease, get scratched, or stretched out. I would advise using a window film application kit if you decide to apply it yourself. The view from the inside of the window is gorgeous and changes from pink to blue depending on time of day, but the outside is orange/yellow so be aware of that if you go with this rainbow color option. It makes a statement and is like having a stained glass window and it’s so nice when the sun comes through. I am already noticing a difference in room temperature which is also a bonus. I got this window film because we have a foster pug (hopefully our eventual adopted dog), and he had been barking out the window at people all day long. He has a bark that can be heard two houses down the street. This window film is completely opaque so it’s nice not to have to rely on blackout curtains, and the privacy is also a bonus. I wish both sides were the blue and pink combination, but it works well for our needs. I would recommend getting a professional to install it because, like I said, if you mess up even a little bit it looks messy. Installing this almost led me to drink and I had to order an additional roll because I melted down and crumpled one up in my frustration.

Was suprised at how well this works. We used the film to cover our garage windows. They look like new windows! Film provides privacy yet lets in natural light. Finished all windows in less than an hour. Make sure you mist both the backside of the film and the clean window lightly with water to lessen bubbles. Leave a small border to ensure proper fit. The instructions included in the kit are difficult to understand and removing the film backing was a learning curve but we found a short you tube video offering a better demonstration.

I bought the white 35.4” x 118.1” film for the lower half of our bathroom window on the first floor because from the backyard deck, it was easy to see if someone was using (and definitely when they were sitting on) the toilet and I wanted to eliminate that bit of (potential) awkwardness. It worked perfectly and thus far has lasted three years from when I first bought it in November 2020 (for $30) and does not show any signs of slowing down! The film is… Personal pros: -Thin while being easy to cut. I simply measured the perimeter of the glass, ordered the closest approximate size, and cut to fit using an X-acto knife. -Easy to apply. I cleaned the window using water and a pinch of Ajax dish soap, rinsed and dried it, then lightly sprayed water on the film and applied it to the window. I then used a squeegee to iron out the bubbles and it has remained perfectly stuck on the window to this day! -The color and meager amount of sunlight blocked ensures privacy and lets in enough sunlight while keeping the window operational and stylish. Now it is still easy to tell when someone is in the bathroom since light still shines through the window, but it is more difficult to tell what they are doing. Personal cons: -I would hesitate to buy it again at the $60 price point it currently holds, but it is easy to imagine that its popularity alone boosted it that high in just three years. Overall I highly recommend this film. It was easy to measure, cut, clean and apply, it provides an adequate level of privacy while letting in plenty of sunlight, and has endured to the point where it still perfectly clings to my window three years after I first applied it. While $60 for the same film might give you pause, I would still recommend giving it some thought. This white privacy film from Coavas gets an easy 4/5!

This is like 3rd time I've purchased this product and I really do find it a fantastic product. I use it so my dog cannot see out the window to bark at everything, and it works perfectly. He cannot see out, but natural light can still get it. Its easy to install, and you can quickly remove it without any stickiness left behind like other wondow films. It is also very durable too. When I first put it up, my dog would scratch at the window trying to get it off, it never ripped or came off.

The product is easy to install, but the instructions are lame. All you need is a squeegee or something like it, and a spray bottle for the water would work best (I used a clean, wet cloth to apply water). Getting the cut exactly right was the hardest thing for me; that and applying it to an inset bathroom window which left me little room to work with my hands. But, I was super happy with how easily it sticks and how easy it is to peel off and reapply if you don't get it lined up correctly. I have some left over after doing two windows, so I'm trying to decide where to use it. I would recommend this product and I would buy it again.
