I have quite a few coolers, and am a personal fan of Rtic for their ice retention & budget-friendly prices. Sure, Yeti is 100% a phenomenal cooler, but you get about 95% of the same value at 1/2 - 2/3 the cost with Rtic. That being said, this Coastland Bay Series cooler falls under the same relative quality - I'd say about 75% of what a cooler like Yeti offers at an insanely cheap price. I purchased the 15qt cooler to turn into a live bait cooler, so I was perfectly willing to chance poor quality/insulation, especially after having read some bad reviews, some even claiming that the lid is hollow & not insulated. Well, this is FALSE. I cut a hole in the lid during the making of my livewell for bait and I can prove that it is indeed insulated. The construction is stout and, without any branding, you'd never know it wasn't an Rtic or a Yeti (except for the differently shaped rubber latches). I cannot speak for it's ice retention, as I only use it to keep baitfish cool, but I'd imagine that, given the size, it'd do just fine for half a day or maybe even a full day. This cooler isn't large enough for anything other than a few drinks or a lunch or two, so I wouldn't expect that it needs to retain freezing temps for longer than 10hrs. If you're looking to keep a few days worth of camping meals/beverages around 40 degrees, I'd strongly suggest spending more on an Rtic or something similar but, if you're looking for something to keep a few beers cold while you fish or work, etc., then this is the cooler for you. I'm not sure how they can produce and sell this cooler so cheaply but, if you're looking for a quality rotomolded day-cooler for under;$100, get yourself a Coastland Bay Series.

Very thick walls with a rubber-like gasket to give a tight seal when closed. The latches are similar, stretchy, rubbery and close the lid securely. I love the pink color. I will use it to keep ice in my rv as my freezer is tiny. This cooler reminds me of my kid’s Yeti. It keeps ice by itself for well over 24 hours. It’s easy to clean. I wipe the inside out with dilute Clorox 10% for 10 minutes to disinfect it, rinse with water and then I can just scoop out the ice and drink the water as it melts. Great for RV life. Very cute and functional.

This is a fantastic cooler. Looks and functions just like the name brand ones that cost double. I especially love the petal pink color-looks expensive and pretty and sets it apart from others. The clasps on this cooler are a nice thick high-quality rubber and really make it look classy. I also like the carry bar-very easy to use. I live in Florida and forgot to bring this in from the car in August. I remembered two days later-when I brought it inside the drinks were still cold. I use this cooler for trips to the beach and it looks great and functions well. I highly recommend it!

Barely holds ice for 3-4 hours. Perfect size and weight. Just wish the thing held ice as long as they actually clam. Does not function as they say. Pretty cool design though

I use this cooler every day for lunch. I work in an office, so I don't know how it would fare in direct heat, but I have reusable freezer packs that I put in there along with my lunch and it stays cold all day. Built very sturdy. The only likely source of failure will be the foam handle material. It feels like it will crumble and tear at some point. But the metal handle will still be usable so I don't worry about it at all.

Unfortunately I didn't use my cooler within the 30-day return window or I would have returned it. Very 1st time filling it, picked it up and the handle pulled out of the side of the cooler. After 17 hours all I had was cold water,I had no more ice. But I did have a wet car seat because the drain leaks.It was tightened down but it started to condensate and then it began dripping.... I'm so disappointed with $100 I spent and I'm really disappointed that there's only a 30-day window for returning items that you may not try within that 30 days. I would not recommend this cooler to anyone
