I'm a huge fan of the COACH brand, and I have several of their vintage leather bags as well as some newer ones. All of those I feel like I have to protect from the elements or be careful not to damage. Not so with this COACH Lachlan Sling bag. This one is a workhorse! It is very large, functional and durable, without being cumbersome. It is authentic and arrives well-protected. It's lightweight, yet padded all over to protect the contents. It has two big zippers - one opens into the large front compartment, and one on the side for another large but flat compartment that's perfect for things I want quick access to, like my phone and wallet. The nylon repels moisture and feels soft and smooth, with subtle tone-on-tone COACH signature branding all over. The strap is also padded, like a backpack strap, so it's comfy to carry even when loaded. It also comes with a COACH leather hangtag as well as a COACH branded whistle charm (not a functional whistle, by the way, it's solid metal and heavy). This bag is perfect for travel or as a festival daypack because it's roomy enough for all my daily essentials, plus a water bottle, a camera, and any souvenirs I pick up along the way. It's also really secure, since I can wear it on my chest, even when sitting down, so I never have to take it off and can monitor access at all times. This is sold by COACH as a men's bag, but honestly, it's a great bag for any gender. I was honestly a little hesitant about this gender-neutral sling bag from Coach but it completely won me over. I’m so glad I gave it a shot because it’s quickly become one of my favorites in my Coach collection. The black fabric gives it a casual vibe while still feeling polished. It’s lightweight but surprisingly functional with a good amount of space and thoughtful interior pockets to keep everything organized. The zipper is smooth and secure. The adjustable strap makes it easy to wear comfortably and I love how versatile it is for everyday use. My only small wish is that the strap had a tiny zipper pocket for something like a car key fob but that is truly minor. The whistle keychain is such a fun, sporty touch and adds a little personality.
