How was the item? Not Good! Do not buy these.. This product was very disappointing to me.. Cncdesigns Zero Clearance Inserts (3-Pack) for Sawstop 10" Industrial Cabinet Saws (ICS) did not fit .. not even close.. I have a 3 year old Sawstop 10" Industrial Cabinet Saw. s (ICS) … these zero clearance inserts do not fit my saw .. the fit and Finnish is very bad.. they arrived chipped up and I had to spend about 40 mins of my time sanding, and power carving on just one of these to get it to fit.. so, buy these only if your time is not important to you and only if you like spending your hard earned money to buy a product and then have to work on it to get it to do what it was supposed to do.. I am very disapointed … but I needed a zero clearance insert right away.. so after carving on it it and sanding think I cannot send these three back for a refund.. ... show more

    • For 90° cuts only, which the listing does not make clear
The build quality of these seems fine, but there's nothing whatsoever in the listing that lets you know that they can only be used for 90° cuts. I bought these with the intention of having one for 45° cuts and one for 60° cuts, and it wasn't until they arrived that the packaging said "These can't be used for anything other than 90° cuts". So if you want them for vertical cuts only, I'm sure they'll be great. If you want them for any other reason, they won't work. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I like the solid insert. It includes the notches needed for clearance of the Sawstop trunnion and front dust deflector. Unfortunately they provide only drywall screws to make the height adjustments. That requires a ridiculously high number of of remove and replace to level. Should include set screws. It also is missing the rear hold-down. The red finish is not slick nor durable. Plan to coat the entire thing in a preferred finish after cutting the initial slots. Being MDF it will suck up a bunch of finish,but will then be much more durable. ... show more

    • Better off to make your own or buy Sawstop
These do not work with a Pro SawStop unless you make numerous modifications. With all that has to be done it would take the same amount of time just to make your own. You have to swap threaded inserts which do not fit well, cut your own slot for roving knife, mortise out a pocket toward the back where the inserts slide into position. Definitely not worth it. I was really hoping to have found an alternative to Sawstop inserts but this isn’t it . ... show more

These did not just drop-in fit my Sawstop saw - you need to modify the support screws for the original insert, which means changing back and forth is a painful process. Returned them.

It appears this was intentional and the item is wider than the throat. Not a fan of spending the time to sand down the edges
