    • Great replacement for older Woodpecker boards.
Bought this to replace faulty woodpecker 3.1 board that came with 3018 model CNC. Initially I had a few issues with laser cutting, but updating the firmware to latest GRBL v1.1h resolved everything. The fan seems to keep stepper controllers cooller than other GRBL controllers I have used. I had to widen the holes to fit existing 3018 mounting but that was simple enough. ... show more

    • Did NOT work for automated CNC operations! Do NOT waste your money on this controller!
While this product was able to manually control XYZ axis movement, it WOULD NOT properly carve this most rudimentary shapes. I am not certain what I can use this for now after I am past the Amazon return window. What a TOTAL waste of time and money!

    • Works exactly as advertised
This is a version 3.3 GRBL controller and came without heatsinks which are highly recommended. Works perfectly with my 3018-PRO. New version 3.4 controllers have a different controller chipset, an enclosure and a fan.
