In installed alarm residential & commercial burglar/fire alarms professionally for about 15 years. Is this a pro quality alarm system? Nope but it’s still a very useful gadget. Heck it has one feature that I didn’t even know it had when I ordered it and it’s now my fav feature. It notifies me when the power to my house goes out and it lets me know when it’s back on. That’s really great to know. Now a few people have criticized the power being a short USB cable and block that makes it difficult to mount the keypad. Yeah bummer but you can buy a USB extension cable separately and the unit does have an inter battery. The batteries in the motion detectors last a super long time and they are cheap to replace. As long as it has power it’s a pretty darn reliable unit. Mine has never failed. If it does get accidentally unplugged it sends me a txt msg to let me know. I didn’t even bother mounting the keypad because I honestly didn’t expect such a cheap alarm to last very long but I’ve had mine for over 2 years. The only gripe I have is that the siren is a joke. The volume is so low it’s really laughable but it serves as a great silent alarm that notifies me. I work very close to my home and I can be there in minutes. This thing is very much worth the money and I highly recommend it

This is a ultra basic system, it does has some good features, however 2 of the design features makes this not suitable as a alarm system. Major fault #1. The power for the control panel is a 4' USB cord that plugs into a standard USB plug. Therefore it can easily be knocked out of the wall and the length of the cord means in order to wall mount, the control panel would need to be less than 4' off the floor. Secondly the siren is attached by a phono ie. (Ear phone type) plug on a 4' cable. Therefore the siren needs to be directly next to the control panel. Both of these makes this unit completely useless as an alarm system. This can be rectified by some simple design changes by the manufacturer. Until such time, keep in mind you would be better off just putting an alarm sign in your yard. It might protect you better than this thing. Also you cannot custom name sensors, the adding of sensors is clumsy, the entire setup process is clumsy and convoluted. Bottom line spend an extra $100 on a real system.

What I did learn is do one sensor at a time. Add it to the system, test and arm system and test again, move to the next. Other than the instructions it works great and should be a good deterrent if someone tries to enter.

I was looking for something like this to integrate with Alexa and Ring since I am subscribed to Emergency Assist already. I did not want another subscription. I managed to easily install all the sensors after pairing and it works like a charm! So happy with this entire system!

I read several reviews on these motion detectors prior to purchasing them. They are relatively small in size, which for me was a plus (less conspicuous). I haven't experienced any of the problems others seem to be having with them. They have an excellent detection pattern, easy to install, and once you are content with the coverage, you can bypass the "led" (indicator light) to save on battery usage. Recently purchased two more. Thumbs up...

First most annoying issue was the sub standard batteries in the sensors. When they get cold like under 40F I kept getting warnings about low batteries. So I swapped them all out with quality lithium ones. Second is the remote controls. It's far to easy to press the buttons by accident. MOST ANNOYING is when the panic is triggered. I got around this by physically ripping off the microswitches from the remotes circuit board. However when you remove the SOS switch the arm button doesn't work anymore but the home one does so that works for me. But if you want the alarm to work when your inside moving around it won't. The "pre-siren" that comes from the keypad before the actual siren goes off is far to quiet for me. I put my control box in a closet. Reason that is a problem is, when I come home and forget about the alarm I can't hear the "pre-siren" to help remind me. So I often set the alarm off fully. Also found out that the remotes/app work with similar systems. It's handy. Because of this I only need one remote and app for a bunch of alarm systems. Yes the instructions are about worth as much as a screen door on a submarine but in the end the system is not hard to learn and I have never not even once had any false alarms or lost connection with a sensor. So if your good figuring out electronics/software its worth buying. If your not don't waste your money..

The media could not be loaded. EDIT:THE NUMERIC PAD HAS A ON/OFF BUTTON ON THE SIDE THAT WILL TURN THE ALARM AND SPEAKER OFF EVEN IF THE ALARM IS SOUNDING!!! SEE VIDEO!!! THIS IS A DANGEROUS PRODUCT!!! PLEASE DONT BUY!! I don't claim to be no Lockpicking Lawyer, but this comes with almost difficult to believe design flaws. There are many things so wrong about this product, but the two most offensive are the position of the SIM port and the connection to the alarm speaker. They are both RIGHT THERE on the side of the unit, the speaker connects with a headphone jack... So, when a guy breaks into your home he just has to pull the headphone jack to make the alarm VIRTUALLY MUTE and press on the sim card to make the alarm UNABLE TO CALL ANYONE...ITS ALL RIGHT THERE! I'v seen and owned chinese alarm systems that at least have all this connections on the back prtotected under a tamper sensor I would laugh but unfortunately I bought this piece of junk. DO NOT BUY THIS.
