I really like this helmet! It's more comfortable than a traditional helmet, IMO. I like that it has protection on the back of the head as well. The folding feature is genius. I can pop it into even a smaller backpack, no problem. When it's popped out and on my head, it feels very sturdy. I got the white with the reflector and it's cute, reflects well, and part of it looks sparkly in regular light. I even got a compliment on this helmet!

It’s very easy to use, and it seems sturdy. The only issue I’ve had is that the buckle moves around a bit and was initially hard to secure. A little annoying, but I still give it 5 stars. Taking a star aways because the pop-up clasps broke in mine after six months and there doesn't seem to be a clear way to make a warranty claim. The support section of the website asks for an order number, but the Amazon order number doesn't work. That said, I really like the helmet, just know it doesn't last a long time.

It's really not that much smaller folded than my regular helmet is; it takes up about the same amount of real estate in my suitcase. But it's comfortable and I don't have to remember to pack/unpack it because it stays in my suitcase and prevents my regular helmet from getting damaged due to travel.

I don’t bike without my helmet. Wait, I lied. I usually don’t bike without my helmet. And they are so clunky. This one folds up. I mean, not to a tiny side, but it folds into itself. And I was able to secure lights to it as well. Long story, even longer, I did one of those donation things for a foldable helmet. I have yet to receive the F’ing thing. I get updates. But where the f’ is the damn thing? So, I broke down and bought this one. I didn’t have to wait YEARS and when I wear it, I feel like Devo. Which is a plus, in my book. BTW the other invisible helmet I never received is a place with grass where you play and the stone in a wedding ring. They SUCK!

another reviewer commented on this already but I have to also chime in. Helmet straps have an webbing/strap edge that will NOT come out of the clasp housing. This one does. And it makes me wonder if the helmet should be down rated for safety. My Story: I was walking my dogs in the park - carrying my helmet in hand after the ride. Another dog scared my dogs and on leash, they bolted, causing my helmet to hit the shrubs and the clasp came undone from the little rubber bands. So for a minute I thought the helmet was toast because those rubber bands hold the webbing/strap into the clasp. IN this instance, they gave way, release the strap/webbing from the clasp mechanism so both sides of the helmet straps hung loose, unfastened, until I rigged up the webbing and looped it through the clasp housing. But all this makes me wonder....if my helmet just took a LITTLE jolt/force from 2 dogs pulling on my arm/hand carrying the helmet, and those rubber bands released the strap feed at the clasp, what would happen if the jolt was greater - say getting hit by a car in a crosswalk? I can't believe the rubber bands are supposed to hold the straps in place. Please, Closca, tell me it ain't so (at this price)?: Buyer beware - this may not be the cool helmet you think it is..... (note: if Closca comes back and lets me know I'm a dummy and I should throw away the little rubber bands and offers a secure fastening, I will retract this review and have a big slice of humble pie. thanks)

I bought this helmet to use when CityBike-ing around NYC. I wanted a helmet I could stow in my daypack, that wouldn’t take up too much room, and that wouldn’t ruin my style-vibe when wearing it. It is everything it proclaims to be: lightweight, compact, attractive, secure and adjustable…and inexpensive considering that regular bike helmets can run as much as $300. I couldn’t be happier.

I love the general idea of this helmet. The collapseable design makes it easy to fit into a backpack with your laptop. It's comfortable too. A bit big with a Euro design. However, I have one big issue: the helmet clasp is tied just via plastic bands. About two months in, I noticed the male clasp was gone. My partner has a helmet as well so I checked hers, which was starting to slip off as well. If you're aware of it, I think you can keep re-adjusting it to not have an issue. But if you're not it'll slip away and you'll be stuck with a helmet that's worthless. I contacted Closca support and they wouldn't do a thing (claiming it was user error) but Amazon was more helpful. TLDR: good helmet, but be wary of the clasp. If you manage that proactively it's 5 stars.

This helmet is quality. Super simple to pop open and fits in my bag. It impresses fellow riders all the time. I think it looks cooler than most half shell helmets. Id trust this helmet in an accident.
