Cycle's on auto setting as described unlike the puro 14 that I just returned. Built of high quality plastic, It is heavyduty and seems like it is built to last. It has a very large filter. I have three dogs and almost immediately all orders in the air were gone. I made grilled cheese sandwiches last night and over toasted a few of them two rooms away from my air purifier, I noticed the indicator light turn from green to red and the fan automatically turned on high while on auto setting. There is some maintenance to clean the filter and the unit regularly on a monthly basis. The filter is directed to last six to twelve months. This unit also connects to Wi-Fi and Alexa app which is beyond my comprehension and is not necessarily to use, but some someday I might be able to figure out this option. The directions describe for best use turn on auto setting and walk away, which makes it very easy to use. This is my second day of use and i feel confident this until will continue to work as it should for many years to come. I also use Clorox cleaning and laundry products and I feel confident that Clorox would not put there name on anything unless it was tested and made of highest quality. I would recommend this product to anyone and i plan on buying more for a great gift to some of my family members.

Household dust is way, way down. I have since bought several for my adult kids and a friend. I can only review the large and medium sizes. I first purchased a few of these for my office when we partly reopened it in 2021. Really changed the quality of the air in the office. It is absolutely amazing how well they work in the home. On auto, they are extremely quiet. I started with 2 at home, then got 3 more so they are in each high-use room except the kitchen, plus the basement. They kick up around the house when you bake or cook anything that generates smoke, even if you don’t perceive it. What really amazed me is that one day, all of them started to kick up to seemingly crazy numbers, like I was cooking bacon, but I wasn’t. I couldn’t figure out why. Three days later the Canada wildfire smoke hit its peak in NY. The filters—indoors with windows closed—“knew” the air was bad before I could perceive it and before it was reported in the news. Tips: buy a replacement filter with it when you purchase, so you have it when needed. The filter lasts many months and you can extend its life by vacuuming it with a Dyson/hose vacuum or other strong handheld. If anyone in your home has breathing issues, you have pets, charming old house with the expected dust, or you live near a highway, get these. You will breathe the difference!

I purchased the Medium unit. Performs great. Odors and cleaner air was fast. I'm very satisfied. The one question I had was if there was plastic around the filter that had to be removed as some people said the unit smelled like plastic. I wanted to be sure and put the question here and also emailed Clorox. Clorox emailed me back quickly. "There should not be any plastic on a filter that is pre-installed on a new unit, because the power cord is placed inside the filter for shipping purposes. If there would be plastic to remove, it would be a clear sheet wrapped around the entire filter, similar to saran wrap. Please do not cut or attempt to remove any of the white plastic on the filter as this will damage the filter media. " If anyone has the same question I hope this helps.

3 cats = lots of cat hair and lots of litter box odors/dust. I have the midsized option and occupy a 950 sq ft apartment. This does an excellent job in tandem with out central hvac of filtering the air. It would probably do just fine on it’s own as well though. Collects cat hair without mercy. Dust that normally lingers after a litter box kerfuffle is easily and quickly eliminated. Also helps with cooking smells which is incredible because our “stovetop fan” does absolutely nothing to help with that. Can’t go wrong for the price. Does better than I expected. Side note: I do follow the recommended cleaning schedule of vacuuming off the filter once a week to keep it working in tip top shape. Let go for 2 weeks once and didn’t notice much of a reduced performance.

I got this air purifier back in May 2023. I’ve had it for months so far and it has worked great. It actually pulls dust smelly odors out of the air and contains them within the filter. The filter is real easy to clean I’ve had to do it once so far, I am I had construction done at my home and this thing collected a lot of the dust that kicked up. That’s why I’ve only had to clean it once so far and it’s very quiet on low or auto setting high would be a level four it is a little loud, but it isn’t bad , it’s about the sound level of a box fan. If you’re looking for something to help purify your air, you may want to give this item a try.

Overall it is a good unit and it works. It does detect particles and does ramp up. During the wildfire issues in Chicago it was running at a higher level than normal. When we open windows to the house it does ramp up. It usually runs around 1-3 with the AC on. The noise is fine on the lowest 2 settings, but does have a droning sound to it. The biggest issue with it is the fan logic. The fan speed increments are based on predefined curves for PPM. The problem is when your PPM level is at the middle point of 2 curves the unit ends up ramping the fan speed up and down and the PPM level fluctuates by 1. There is no buffer in the curves to account for this and so the unit just speeds up and slows down which is annoying. For this reason we usually set it to a manual fan speed at bedtime. The unit is a bit cheaper than others but that cost is offset by the filter cost. It's like an HP printer. Our filter lasted 7.5 months and never went above a fan speed of 2 so the filter replacement logic is probably based off that. It does catch some dust and we do vacuum the filter surface every month or so. Overall it's decent, but not life changing.
