I purchased this a little under a month ago and have been using it daily. Previously I used the Ilia Limitless Lash Mascara religiously for around 4 years and over those 4 years, it started to steadily go down in quality. I finally had enough of it and came across this one and god am I so glad that I did! I have none of the issues with the CLIO Kill Lash that I did with the Ilia mascara, which is around $15 more. This mascara is PITCH BLACK, it's not clumpy, it doesn't dry out quickly, and most importantly: it doesn't make my eyes feel dry and irritated. It also keeps my lashes curled, which is something I've never really had a mascara do before! This mascara goes on easily, and it stays on all day without flaking or moving at all. My only complaint (which is honestly really minor) is that it is HARD to get off. The one I purchased is not listed as waterproof, but I beg to differ. I use the Clinique makeup remover balm, which easily eats through all of my other makeup, and even that requires me to brush through my lashes a couple of times to get it off. I would be willing to bet that this stuff could survive an ocean trip. Overall, I love this mascara. It feels like $13 VERY WELL spent and I look forward to (hopefully) many more years of buying it. ... show more

Doesn't clump, yet lengthens pretty well. You don't need much for it to hold. To be honest, it doesn't keep my lashes completely upright for the day but it does a better job than any other mascaras I've tried. My lashes do drop a bit after a while, but they still keep a slight curl and never droop or go super straight. I wear a lot of sunscreen and cosmetics, but I've never had issues with it coming off (very smudge proof). In fact, the only reason I took off a star is because it is VERY hard to remove. I always take off my makeup with a double cleanse and I have to really work in the oil cleanser for it to even break off the mascara. I think the reason it has such a good hold is because the mascara liquid dries down to be really brittle, like I cleanse it off and i see little sticks of mascara come off, think mini toothpicks. Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of work to remove, but I still think it's worth it for the overall performance of the product. ... show more

Wore it for whole day today ( 2 hours work out + 7 hours driving & eating & shopping). See the picture after hours! My whole face is sweating and oily, but my slashes are super clean and stayed curled perfectly as nothing happened! 0 smudge! 0 flakes! I have tried so many big brands’ mascara in the past years, Dior, gorge Armani, Lancôme, ysl, esté launder… all of them make a mess after couple hours on my oily skin and my eyes itchy aching. This is the best long lasting ever in my life. I will probably stick with this going forward. The only con is that it is quite difficult for make up removing, neither hot water or eye make up remover oil work easily. So glad I found this mascara! The thin brush is perfect for my hooded Asian eyes, mascara is powerful & glides on easily & it's the 1st mascara that doesn't make me look like a panda after 30 mins. I was surprised it stays smudge proof for 12+ hrs & it stays on perfectly during my workouts! Removal is also super fast & easy which is an extra plus b/c other mascaras have been tedious to wash off. I suggest using a mascara primer which helps greatly for longer wear.
