Many people prefer Aveda for understandable reasons. That being said, the fact that a Company or product was popular in the 1980s doesn't effect the product in my opinion. I've been using this to wash my face for about a year. It's been working great as it removes the dirt and oils, but doesn't dry out my face. It's helped with preventing acne buildup also.
