First of all yes, these are not the cutest. As I get older that is less of a need to have. Function over fashion now. Anyway, I absolutely LOVE the no sweat feature! These are the first slippers I have ever worn that are super warm, but my feet don't sweat. I practically live in these slippers all winter long. I wear them with or without socks sometimes all day and don't sweat which results in the fact that they don't smell awful either. I am a smoker so I go outside fairly often in these too and my feet stay nice and warm. Even in the recent cold snap in the teens! Plus the traction seems to do pretty good in the snow. Now, they did run a bit small. I wear a 9.5 so I ordered a medium. They were only slightly tight and I thought maybe I would work them in over time, so I didn't return them. I was right and have worked them in, but lets just say, thank goodness for the reinforced x stitch at the top. I split the stiches on the left foot but it stopped (so far) at the x. Being extra careful to avoid the same thing happening on the right foot. But, depending on how long they last, I think I would order them again, maybe go up a size next time. ... show more

Amazon warned me that this product tends to size smaller than expected, but my attempt to compensate was still too little. The result is some slippers that I can only just barely force my feet into. I'd say I'd have to order at least two sizes larger than normal. Given that poor fit, they're not great. They work, I guess, but they're not going to be as warm as properly-fitting slippers that leave room for toe movement. ... show more

I've had Dearfoams since 1977 and they're GREAT! Wearing my 1977-vintage Dearfoams OUTSIDE (to get the mail) was hard on the soles they used at that time - a soft vinyl. TODAY they're using a durable more-rubbery type sole which is firm. I may even wear 'em to the grocery store! I don't know whether THESE will flip inside-out to machine wash as their original soft, indoor-rated materials did. I couldn't pass these up on Black Friday for under $25.00 ... show more

I bought these for my husband for his birthday. His other pair of Dearfoams have a soft sole, and he wanted new slippers that he could also wear outside. He wears a size 13 shoe, and his other Dearfoams slippers (also size XL) fit him perfectly. Unfortunately, these size XL slippers that have the firmer, indoor/outdoor soles are sized very small, and they rub tightly against the tips of his toes. I’ll be returning them, sadly. ... show more

These are comfy. The sizing chart on here is off. I wear a womens 8.5 and ordered a small because I wanted some extra room. They definitely fit like a true 7-8. Don’t go with what the womens sizing says.

Faux Fur-lined up to the ankle. My slippers did not cover my ankles and my feet were always cold. I got these slippers for Christmas and have been wearing them for 2 months. What a difference...my feet are warm: they work!!!
