This is the first time buying Oboz for me. I loved them so much that I bought the mids and the lows! I am definitely a fan. I do think they might be better suited for a narrow foot. My feet run narrow, and they fit me PERFECTLY! I wear between a 9 and 9.5, the 9.5 fits me the best. I like a little room in the toe box so that my toes don't get wrecked on downhills. The quality is really great, they have good ankle support, and the insoles feel like they have great arch support. They are waterproof and seem like they might run a little hot, but I do live in AZ, so my feet will be hot no matter what! I love the aggressive and stiffer sole. I hike a lot on a super rocky trail, and these are a million times more stable and slip-resistant than the running shoes I was using before. Love these boots, this is my first ever pair of hiking boots, got them for a trip to the Scottish Highlands next month. I bought a size 8 and usually wear a 7.5 or an 8, depending on the brand. I've been wearing them around the house to break them in, so far haven't found any pressure points that bother me, the support is very good, great arch support, I have a high instep and they are comfortable. I've put in about 16 miles the past two days and they are comfortable. I had a pair of the bridges that I loved, I just outgrew them after menopause. I'm so glad these come in size 12. I tried these on at Sportsman warehouse and they fit beautifully, but because they didn’t have the color i wanted i decided to order these online. They fit like a glove just like the ones at the store and have wonderful arch support and made of beautiful material, but the right shoe has a pointless seam near the heel that digs into me. The left shoe did not have this. That is ridiculous. I realize these are not the top brand of hiking shoe, but i had heard from experienced outdoors people that this brand is reputable and worth the investment. If this one pair is anything to go by, think again. I am giving it one more shot and buying the same ones again (which have shot up another $10 in price since i ordered the first pair 😒) in hopes that the next pair will not have this flaw and that this mistake was simply a one-off. These Oboz boots are well made and sturdy but run small. I ordered 1/2 size larger than my normal size and could hardly get them on my feet. I ended up returning them for 1 size larger than my normal size, and a wide width. Which I never wear. These fit fine but only wearing a normal sock. I could not wear a thicker hiking sock bc there’s no room. I am happy however with the boot, they look good and fit fine now. ... show more

I bought these to take the place of my old Sawtooth boots. They are similar but not as comfortable for me. They really rub my ankles raw. Maybe they will be better once I get them broken in more? Still love the brand and they are as advertised.
