2yr old loves his drum kit but it was always in pieces. Bought him (my nephew) this and he has a special table for it. Closes the door behind him (pretty cute actually) and goes nuts. It's not TOO sensitive, you have to hit it good... But he loves that he can hit different looking drums for different noises. The other drum kit I was looking at had 4 of the same size pads...I think this is much better, now he can see and tell the difference between the big drum, the cymbal, etc.. Instead of blindly pounding away on 4 pass that look the same. Rolling up and moving out great too, as he does to his grandparents home every day and brings this with him. Solid construction, easy to clean but very accurate wiring inside I'm sure. Can't beat it for $20. Really. Congress with solid drum sticks with a nice rubber ball on the ends. Very cool. He'll advance to real drums in a few years but right now, this 2 year (and one month) old can't go anywhere without this! ... show more

    • VIDEO Not Durable for children used for two days and already broke
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my son to play with and it did not hold up. I figured it was a cheaper option than the others and I definitely got what I paid for. I normally NEVER do reviews but if I can help another mama out, I'm all for it. The speaker is blown and the sound is distorted and lagging. The sound goes in and out. The mat itself has a bunch of tears in it after only two days of using it. I do not recommend this product at all. ... show more

    • Barely plays half the time 😡!!!
Can’t hear it half the time and we had to replaced the batteries four times to get it to work... can’t hear all the instruments half the time! Want to return it and get my money back😡😡😡

    • Don't waste your money!
I am so unhappy with this purchase. We opened it and it would make the initial sound at turn on, but then wouldn't respond to any of the touch sensitive instruments. My son wanted to open this gift first and was so let down when it wouldn't work. I appealed to the company and never heard back from them. Such a let down, I do not recommend this to anyone. ... show more

    • Do not step on the mat too hear the sounds.
My little grandson loves it!!!! But you have to hit the drums in the right spot for it to work!!!!!!

Godson LOVES his drum set. Sticks can be used as weapons, so supervision is advised, but he defiantly has been putting several performances for his parents. They LOVE me for the purchase!!:)
