These clear cast acrylic sheets are exactly what I needed for my laser engraving and DIY projects. The clarity is excellent. I believe it is far better than standard plexiglass or extruded acrylic. They feel solid and durable, with great scratch resistance. I love that they come with a protective film, which makes handling and cutting a lot easier without worrying about scratches. I’ve used them with my Creality laser, and they cut and engrave beautifully every time. At 1/8" thick and 12"x20", they’re a perfect size for smaller craft projects, glass replacements, or custom builds. I ordered this to line some wire shelves so that the items I place on the shelves don't fall over or lean sideways. So for me this is exactly what I wanted and what I expected to receive. I can't decide if I want to use it with the protective cover on (a frosted look) or with it off (perfectly clear). The acrylic is nice and thick and sturdy and clear and perfectly see thru. I am very pleased with it. The acrylic sheets come nicely protected with a film on both sides of the sheet. It would have been nice if they added a little tab you could pull to easily remove the protective layer. Removing it was a little tedious trying to find the edge of the protective cover in order to remove it. However, I am grateful that they do protect the acrylic. The thickness is perfect for my needs. One of the sheets did have a scratch on the acrylic, but for my needs this isn't an issue. If you were using this for something else it might prove to be a problem for you. However, I suppose you could simply ask them to send you out one additional non-defective sheet if you needed these panels perfectly clear and flawless. However, for my needs it isn't a problem. I am pleased with this order and would ordered these again if I find that I need more. ... show more
