I got the mermaid version for my niece and a second dinosaur one for my nephew. We saw some of the big versions of these at an arcade and they were very fun for my niece and nephew, so once I saw these on Amazon I just had to get them. After trying them out I'm not fully convinced they are worth the asking price of $40. My niece and nephew however both have a bunch of fun with them, so I'm gonna go ahead and give a full 5 stars because it's a toy for children and not adults; therefore, my experience and feedback is less important than the target demographic. What follows is the feedback and rating from my niece and nephew. You have to charge these up and the battery life isn't long enough. The grabber arm makes it hard to grab the prizes. My 3 year old nephew could not get a prize at all. My nearly 5 year old niece was able to operate the grabber arm but she still says it's too hard trying to pickup the prizes. The included toys/prizes were decent enough and their size is about the perfect size to fit inside the grabber claw. The assortment of toys was pretty good but seemed totally random (as-in the dino version had toys like these little doll face plushies pink & purple colored).

I ordered this for my grandson because he always tries to take his sister's that's similar but girly. This one seems better made than the other one, and it has a volume control (HUGE FAN). The "crane" operates a lot more smoothly than my granddaughter's as well. Plenty of stuffies and dinos to have loads of fun, and we'll likely add candy to it occasionally. Only complaint is that it came with a charging cord but doesn't charge, we had to put batteries in it.

My experience with this toy was different from that of my kids (boy, 11 and girl, 3). I thought this toy captured all the frustrating things about a real claw machine - it's difficult to use, the music is awful, the toys are cheap and not worth the effort it takes to get one... but my kids? They LOVED it. Clearly, it's a total hit with the target audience. My 3 year old daughter adores the music and my 11 year old son thought the game play was "really cool". In fact, my 11 year old, who often gives up a challenge at the first hint of frustration, happily played with this claw machine for a solid 15 minutes without a single complaint. I'm still in awe of what I just witnessed. Both my kids took turns getting the toys out, neither was frustrated with it no matter how long it took. They are just so elated to own their very own real claw machine. They added their own toys to the mix, fascinated by what they could find that would fit in there, but they also appreciate the toys that it comes with. Again, here I am thinking they were cheap, boring little toys that would immediately be cast aside but nope, I was wrong, my kids think they're awesome. So I maybe wouldn't recommend this for adults, but it's a sure win with kids. My 3 year old had no difficulty operating it with her little toddler hands, and both kids immediately figured out how to use it without any help from me. I still think the gameplay is frustrating, I don't think the claw does a good job grabbing the toys, but the kids didn't have an issue with that. I like that it plugs in with a USB and no batteries. I also like that the music can be turned down or off entirely, and it plays more than one song. Overall, this is a solid hit with the kids, both of mine give it a 10/10.

Was made out of inexpensive materials, I sent one back that came cracked. Seems pretty breakable if not too careful. Claw is a little weak, but it does what it is supposed to with the size toys that came with it. I would look for another, more sturdy kind in the future

Listen it’s cool. It was fun to use for a while but omg it is loud. Like very loud. My daughter likes to play with it but we had to put it up because I can’t stand to listen to it. If I could adjust the volume then it would be perfect. Everything works great.

I got this for my son. He likes to play claw machine in Arcade place. He likes this little machine with music on while he is playing. Also, it is fun to play and great for family party. The little stuffed animals are really cute. Like it!

This claw machine works great and is so cute! I love the dinosaur theme and how it came with dinosaurs for the claw to pick up. It's not too difficult to grab an item with the claw. My kids have so much fun playing with this claw machine. It feels like it's really well made and it's held up through some really rough kids. The price was great too.

I love claw machines, and this was a great option to have a little one at home. The unit can be powered from USB and is easy for kids to operate. The included toys are a great addition. While it performs well, the controls are limited. It will only rotate the crane arm side to side with the rotating knob. The up and down lever works well however. It's easy to place this out of the way as it's not too big, and it looks adorable. Overall a decent game for the price!
