Easy to install. Was able to have it right ontop of a metal bed frame and nothing in between. Slept on it the same night I 'installed' it. Very comfortable and cool. Looks like it is small when box comes in, but it expands the moment the plastic comes off. I sleep comfortably on it, 110 lbs and my 60 lbs dog too. No dipping of the mattress despite nearly 200 lbs on it. Very quiet, without a mattress protector.

I was a bit concerned when buying my 1st foam mattress about heat and stickyness with memory foam. I went through several pillows over the years that just didnt work out because they got so warm during the night and id wake up with half my head covered in sweat. I didnt want to risk that with a bed. After reading up about the "newer" gel foam mattresses I decided to try one out. The first was for my daughter when I bought my house and she was ready to upgrade to a larger bed. I purchased her one of these in a FULL size and it was amazing. I set it up in living room and let it air out for 2 days to properly inflate and let the gases escape. Then I tried laying on it and was in heaven... She absolutely loves the bed and has been using it since Nov 2019. When it was time for my 4yo to move from toddler bed into his own TWIN, I got him one of these as well. And he talked about how much more comfortable his new bed is than my old bed for quite some time. This time around, I purchased one for my garage... I work overnights and have been using a couch in my garage (I have a game room set up as well) to sleep on during week so the kids doint have to be quiet in the house while im asleep during day. I am so happy to have my own. Next purchase will be a Queen for my master bedroom. I have a pillow top Cal King now we bought 12+ years ago but out new house has smaller bedrooms and while we put off buying another mattress due to how much we paid for the bed (about 2K), its about time now and the Cool Gel QUEEN is only about $400 when they have them in stock.. Total bargain for the superior quality and comfort.

I had a back injury back in high school that never went away, until I slept on this. I had the same mattress for over 10 years and I decided to go with this. The next morning I woke up I had absolutely no back pain, felt refreshed, and didn't even feel tired at all. I thought it was a dream that I felt so great waking up. At first this mattress feels very very plush, but the second you lay on it your entire body gets pushed back up - and turns into medium hard. When sitting it is somewhat soft but the dispersion of weight over area changes the firmness so be aware of that. Either way, this is a fantastic mattress for such a cheap price.

At age 59 and having slept on conventional mattresses all my life, and not having shopped for a mattress in years, I was appalled by the $2000 and $3000 + asking prices for "premium" mattresses. After doing a little reading on memory foam, I decided to risk $179 (twin size) on this Classic Brands mattress with the "cool gel" top. Three nights later I am totally pleased. The first night, having failed to read the directions, I only let it air out for 3 hours before sleeping on it. I woke up in the middle of the night coughing and congested. There is definitely some kind of chemical irritant released when it comes out of the box. But after letting it air out for two days, I have had no further problems. I put nano fiber cooling sheets on it and still feel a bit warm with the room cooled to 69 degrees, but that might have been the case with a conventional mattress as well. Am going to try a water-cooled mattress cover with it. Back to the mattress--high marks for comfort and quality. Also my low back pain has been improving. If you have never bought a bed in a box, it will be weird to release the mattress from its packaging and watch it uncurl like a monstrous caterpillar. But I am glad I bought this and would do so again.

I am a medium framed woman and my husband is a small framed man, both of us under 200 lbs. He is a stomach sleeper, very thin. I am a side sleeper, average weight. We had a traditional queen sized, pillow top mattress that we purchased just three years ago from a local business that literally fell apart on us. It sunk in so bad in the middle that we woke up with hips and back hurting several times a night. We would be exhausted and our arms and legs would actually be sore from clinging to life on the sides of the thing just to prevent crash-rolling into one another as we slept. Chronic hip and neck pain: we were miserable. We live in the town where the dams broke; everything flooded and we had to replace our bed (everything, actually) with almost no money. I was leery about this purchase but I got one 14 inch 2.0 in queen and another in twin 12 inch for my son. These are some heavy boxes, but we used a cart for transport. The boxes were in fair shape but the bag that vacuum seals the queen mattress was sliced, so as soon as we took it out of the box it started to expand. Comedy ensued as we tried to get it on the bed frame before we unrolled it. Within six hours our so it was expanded pretty close to 14 inches. I did notice one end was not fully expanded, but I know time and temp can affect that, so I waited to put sheets on it. It eventually caught up to the other corners. We let it expand a good 14 hours before sleeping on it. There was no noticeable smell. It took about two weeks to get here so we had been sleeping rough to begin with, but it did us take about a week to adjust to the new support: we were expecting that. It's been maybe six weeks and the mattress didn't firm up more as some have said. This may be that we were just struggling with body aches and sleepless nights as we waited on our new beds so our perspective may be a little skewed on this. We have had no issues with hot sleeping. The washable mattress cover is a plus though we have not taken it off so I can't speak to the ease of that, yet. I do notice some depression in the bed now but it's very slight, we're due to rotate at this point. So yes this is medium firm but as a side sleeper I'll say it's about perfect. No pressure points. The pillows that came with the queen are wonderful: they seem really too puffy but as you lay into them they help support your neck (we've both had neck injuries so this is a big deal for us). I have to flip the pillows (shortways) during the night because it does compress and the neck support wanes. That's no biggie: the cool side of the pillow is a nice bonus. I will say that elderly or disabled folks may benefit greatly from the comfort of the pillows but find them heavy and difficult to manage without help. I would not go for less than the 14" for us. My son wanted the 12" because of his bed frame. He is pushing 6ft and 200 lbs and seems comfortable with his new bed so far. You should know that the bed will expand a good 1-2 inches beyond the frame all the way around for a standard frame. I'm not sure how this will affect the support but will report as time goes on. I know buying a mattress is frustrating so I try to follow up. SO far so good for the price. We were in kind of a traumatic situation when we purchased so we didn't have a lot of choice based on what we could afford. It's a decent product so far tbh next bed I will go with an American company for a few extra dollars.

After much research, we decided to buy this bed for my teenage daughter (about 5'5 and 120 lbs). She has a platform bed with storage below, so we didn't need anything but a mattress. She absolutely loves this mattress. She said her back does not hurt her like it had in the past and she has no problems sleeping because of temperature. We were prepared to have to let this air out for a couple of days because of smell as we had read in some reviews of similar products. But we had no problem with this at all. It came very well packaged. She received this for Christmas. That morning we unrolled it and by that night she was ready to sleep on it. According to instructions, you are supposed to wait to give it time to expand to its full size. I felt like it achieved that long before the given time, which was nice because she is impatient. This is starting the third month and all is well. Overall, I feel like this was a great purchase.

Absolutely love this mattress! I read the reviews, and it made me a little nervous. However, I pulled the mattress out of the box, and put it on the bed frame. Fortunately, I was going out of town for the weekend, so the mattress had plenty of time to fluff up over a couple of days. However, it looked like it was almost fluffed completely up within just a couple hours. I have now been sleeping on this mattress for a couple of months, and it’s fabulous! It’s probably the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever owned… And that thing a lot! It has a lot of support while still being very comfortable! It’s super soft, but not in an unsupportive way. Very comfortable. The cooling pad on top is nice as well!
