Absolutely one of the most comfortable mattresses I've slept on. I travel for work and have stayed at over 100 different hotels/airbnbs in the last 5 years. Of course it's all subjective for comfort. I'm 6ft 240 lbs so I like that it's more of a firm foam mattress but not like a firm traditional that feels like a plank. The fact that it costs a tenth of what a mattress from a store would cost is just perfect. If you prefer a really soft sink sinkable mattress this may not be your fit. If you like a mattress thats more firm for better back support, and yet still feels like you're floating, then I'd highly recommend. ... show more

I will start with I am very happy with my purchase of this mattress! My husband and I had been talking about a new, larger king size mattress for well over a year. After some research and price watching at the local mattress stores we just couldn’t bring ourselves to spend upwards of several thousand for the mattress/boxspring/frame/new bedding/etc no matter the “fabulous” financing options; just seemed silly. After learning how severely the stores markup mattresses and how you can haggle the price down, I was even more turned off by the thought of going to the store so as any good Prime member, we turned to Amazon! Back to this mattress. I will say we were a little hesitant about buying a mattress online without getting the chance to lay on it, however we have managed to make it to our mid 30’s without ever personally picking out a mattress of our own. The reviews, ratings and questions were extremely helpful in making our decision. The mattress arrived yesterday, as had all the other pieces part of our upgrade. It came tightly rolled, vacuum sealed in a large box that was not as heavy as I was expecting. The package was easy to open and the mattress unrolled and started to take its form immediately. As others have noted, it does have a bit of a smell to it but nothing crazy; similar to the memory foam topper we currently had when it was new. Needless to say, we opened it about 6 hours before we went to bed and slept on it the night it arrived. Overall, I slept great. I have EDS/Joint Hypermobility and am in general discomfort most of the time; sleeping is no exception. My husband and I both found it to be very comfortable and while I’m no mattress connoisseur I think many people have described it well; it is firm but when you lay down on it is cushy and supportive where you need it. I move around a lot when I sleep and tend to be more of a side and stomach sleeper but was comfortable on my back as well which was nice. I also have issues where my hands, arms, shoulders and sometimes legs fall asleep on their own and that didn’t happen last night while it had all this week. This morning I woke up in much more comfort than normal and a lot of the places that normally are stiff and sore were not and just felt like they were relaxed. Overall, great first impressions and I'm hopeful this will continue to be the case! As some have asked, it does come with a 25 year warranty; 10 years full warranty and 15 prorated so that is nice piece of mind as well if you're unsure. ... show more

I bought this mattress 7 years ago as a replacement for my almost $2k mattress which was end of life. I figured if didn't love it, I would use it in the guest bedroom. I've been using it every night the past 7 years, and it really is a great mattress at an amazing price! I would consider this a medium firm mattress leaning more towards firm on a box spring (I wouldn't call it a hard mattress). If you prefer a softer mattress with the box spring, adding a topper may be the way to go. I run hot when I sleep, and had no issues with this mattress being too warm for me to sleep on, however, as a woman who is now in her early 40s, I have begun to get *incredibly hot* while I sleep a few times a month due to changing hormones. On those nights, this bed does grab and hold the heat, so I will be adding a cooling topper to help solve for the new situation. You really can't beat the price, and after using it for so many years, I felt it was time to finally write a review on the quality/longevity. For my needs, this mattress is a huge win and proved to me that mattresses costing thousands of dollars aren't necessary for the same comfortable night of sleep. ... show more

This is the first mattress I have ever purchased. My husband and I had been sleeping on a used hand me down spring mattress that was probably as old as we are for 3 years. When I was pregnant with our first I used to wake up with terrible back and hip pain and I was miserable. Once I got pregnant with our second I KNEW that a new mattress was an absolute must if I wanted to survive another pregnancy lol. I could not be more impressed with the comfort level. I am 20 weeks pregnant and I have not woken up with pain once since we purchased. My husband loves our mattress as well and I have a hard time getting him out of bed for work! When I lay down in the evenings I can actually feel my spine and hips popping back into alignment (FEELS SO GOOD) and it has done wonders for my pregnant self. It also supports my belly when side sleeping, I dont have to prop pillows around me. My husband sits in the same spot(edge of the bed) for a few hours almost daily playing video games, and where there used to be an unsightly dip in our old spring mattress, this one has been resilient and I see no dips or signs of compression at all. You could set a wine glass on one side of the bed and jump on the other without spilling the glass it absorbs so much movement. It is not terribly firm, but firm enough to support you and still be comfortable. The few negatives I have is that when we recieved our product there was a small rip in the mattress cover that I assume happened during the shipping process, but it was easily sewed back together. A bit dissapointing but not the end of the world. Also, the plastic foam smell is pretty strong when you first unbox it so make sure you let it air out for a few days in a well ventilated room unless you want to wake up with a headache. I discovered they use fiberglass for fire protection so you should also wash the cover before sleeping on it. We didnt and ended up with little sparkles of fiberglass underneath our bed that I discovered with a flashlight one day. Since washing and covering with a mattress protector we havent had that problem anymore. 9/10 and have reccomended it to my friends. If you want a nice mattress without paying 1k then this is the right choice. ... show more

Classic Brands, let me just thank you.. I thought memory foam wasn't for me until I bought this. So this past summer, I actually first bought the Best Price Mattress 10-Inch Memory Foam Mattress, Full. Ten inches thick, bed size full. At first, that mattress felt soft and it was nice. But it quickly firmed up and I realized it was beginning to make my back hurt. I also had a cooling memory foam pillow and initially blamed that pillow for the neck and back pain because it was a rather thick pillow. So I switched that pillow out for a softer pillow but the pain continued. A full month of me sleeping on the Best Price bed and I realized the bed really wasn't any better than sleeping on the floor. I was that tired of the bed and not only that, that bed held a LOT of heat and I would literally wake up drenched in sweat. Maybe if it was winter, that heat holding would be great! But I live in a desert and summertime here is SERIOUS. So I decide I want to return that mattress and decide to give this mattress a chance. It was already a main contender in my potential picks, especially for its cooling properties. But I decided I wanted a mattress that was not only reasonable in price and cooling, but also PLUSH. I am not about the firm mattress life as the Best Price mattress showed me. The Classic Brands mattress met all of my main criteria and I got my mattress exchanged for this one. When it arrived, I immediately pressed into it and loved how soft it felt but felt that wasn't enough to judge. I love the covering of this mattress. The dark grey sides of the mattress actually make it look quite nice and.. satisfying in confidence, if that's the right way to put it. The white part of this mattress's covering scrunches up to allow stretching which is definitely necessary in a mattress and it stretches VERY well when I tested it. This also prevents the mattress' corners from being squeezed down which was exactly what I saw in the Best Price mattress. There was definitely a present chemical smell, but I just kept my windows open, my door open, and the fan on in my room and went to work after setting it on my bed frame. The smell isn't caustic, but it's definitely present! So finally, it's time to sleep on it and it is the perfect blend of plushness with support. I don't want to say firm because it's soft, but you're not sinking in. It supports you enough to cradle you and give no pressure on parts of your body. I did not believe the whole memory foam cloud feel until I received THIS bed. I fell asleep and woke up.. with NORMAL TEMPERATURE. No sweat, just woke up feeling great! I was still cautious because that's how the first mattress started out. I decided I'd give it more time before I decide if I truly like it, but I already knew it was providing me great sleep. Now it has been a few weeks later and my opinion still has not changed. This mattress is STILL soft while being supportive. This mattress STILL doesn't make me weak up covered in sweat. This mattress has NOT given me pains of any kind. Now that the weather is cooling down, I placed a thick insulating fuzzy blanket on my bed so I wouldn't get any unnecessary cooling and even though this thick blanket, this bed is plush and comfortable. I now believe memory foam is for me. Not all memory foam is equal. <3 My only thing one might consider a con is this isn't a bed for sitting on the edges of. You will sink, haha! ... show more

This is the 2nd one of these mattresses I have purchased for my home in the past several months. I LOVE IT! I ordered a queen size for a guest room, and realized that the mattress was better than the one I currently had in my own room. For the price... this completely took me by surprise. Coming from the mattress industry on both the retail sales AND manufacturing end, I am very familiar with this manufacturer and have purchased their products with confidence over the years. (Also check out their Cool Gel pillows.. best I've ever used). For this price, I was expecting a great quality GUEST ROOM mattress, but what I got was a lush feeling, top of the line feeling product. See notes below This video (under 4 mins) walks you through the complete process from how the mattress is shipped from the Manufacturer, how to properly open and set up, as well as a full description of materials, quality, and my experience with the mattress. Delivery Method: This mattress is delivered roll pack compressed. Meaning it is sealed air tight in in plastic, and rolled for easy shipping. I love this because it fits through doorways easily, and more importantly for me, stays nice and clean! Unpacking: The outer package is cardboard, the plastic casing is inside, its very easy to remove both. Just make sure you cut away from the fabric so you don't ruin your mattress (explained in the video) Look: 10.5" profile is a nice looking mattress. VERY soft lush ticking (fabric) on top that is nice, breathable and stretchy. Fancy looking grey knit border is a nice modern touch. The feel: This to me, although very subjective, is the most important part of mattress selection. I've always liked this company's product because of their support. I'm roughly 210lbs and this mattress doesn't budge when I lay down on it. I get a nice durable support. The top is NOT rock hard though. It feels very fluid and comfy. I guess the best description would be "just enough mush" to feel nice on my shoulders and hips. They ventilate the foam so it doesn't feel like traditional sticky memory foam. So, my old mattress was taking its toll on my back and it was clearly time to shop for something different. I had a regular pillowtop mattress about 13 years old. I went to a couple local mattress stores and flopped around on several different styles. A friend recommended checking out Amazon and when i saw the prices of these Classic Brands Cool Gel mattresses i was very skeptical of the prices. Everything i looked at locally was 3 times more expensive than on Amazon! I finally rationalized that at this price even if it only lasts a few years I'm still ahead money wise. I pulled the trigger and ordered. I decided to keep my old box spring despite the manufacturers recommendations not to use one and use a specific foundation. Turns out as long as your box spring is in good shape you'll be fine. The mattress arrived on the specified day, it was raining and delivery guy covered up the box with a plastic sheet, thank you!! I got the new mattress outta the box and unrolled it on the box spring. Following instructions i carefully cut the plastic covering and it immediately started to inflate on its own, pretty cool! A definite plasticy chemical smell filled the room, ceiling fan on, window open! It has a zippered covering that's nice and soft. I slept on it that night, it's my only bed! I was told from friends with memory foam mattresses that it takes a few nights to become accustomed to these type mattresses. Turns out that's true, at least in my case. I should mention that i was seeing a chiropractor for a sciatic nerve issue in my back and within a week of getting this mattress i stopped seeing him. It was a combination of his adjustments and this new mattress that my issues went away. I definitely sleep deeper and don't toss and turn like i used to. After a month I'm super happy with my purchase. The chemical smell other reviewers mentioned is now barely noticeable. My old sheets fit the new mattress just fine and actually tuck under better and stay put. It measures right at 10 inches thick and is super comfy! I don't know how long it'll last, but i wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one.
