For the price ($19US), the quality, the sound, I am amazed and can't believe this product. Mainly used to hear intestinal sounds; the clarity and bold loudness of the scope is shocking. The intestines make some seriously scary noises, at times I thought the howling and groaning of hell was right next to my ears! I checked out five other scopes and tried my friend's Littmann, none came close to this Clairre--for $19 bucks (when I bought it). The chest-piece is hardy, a bit heavy and tough, the scope-head does a very nice job drowning out environmental noise too. As stated the scope head is a bit heavy, but that's not a concern for me, I don't have it hanging around my neck throughout the day. Will be buying another--don't why the price differs from on to another--quality issue--won't know until my next buy. The chest-piece membrane/diaphragm is sensitive and seems more heavy duty than the others I tried. For the price, this product is worth its weight in high valued gold. [This review is not sponsored. This is a great stethoscope for first time nursing student. I was able to use it for class to asses vital signs and I could hear very clearly . It is very lightweight and beautiful color. Money well spent!

I'm an EMT so I know what's good or not what it comes to stethoscopes. This one is inexpensive and the sound quality is great. It's lightweight and feels like it'll last a good while. I'd definitely recommend it.
