Very nice stethoscope!

I had an ancient stethoscope; in fact, I still have it. Somewhere. Probably in my house but I can't find it. So, I spent forever in here trying to shop around and figure out why there was such a big price range between brands. I finally contacted a couple of friends that are in the medical field and gave them the specs on a couple of the ones shown on Amazon and they agreed that, for the price and for no more often than I need one, the Clairre seemed like the one to go with. It's very comfortable and doesn't leave my ears feeling "pinched" or anything. And the sound is really clear, too! Plus - an added pro - PURPLE!! LOL! My favorite color.

For the price ($19US), the quality, the sound, I am amazed and can't believe this product. Mainly used to hear intestinal sounds; the clarity and bold loudness of the scope is shocking. The intestines make some seriously scary noises, at times I thought the howling and groaning of hell was right next to my ears! I checked out five other scopes and tried my friend's Littmann, none came close to this Clairre--for $19 bucks (when I bought it). The chest-piece is hardy, a bit heavy and tough, the scope-head does a very nice job drowning out environmental noise too. As stated the scope head is a bit heavy, but that's not a concern for me, I don't have it hanging around my neck throughout the day. Will be buying another--don't why the price differs from on to another--quality issue--won't know until my next buy. The chest-piece membrane/diaphragm is sensitive and seems more heavy duty than the others I tried. For the price, this product is worth its weight in high valued gold. [This review is not sponsored. Adequate, can hear heart and lung and bowel sounds. Certainly there are some that are clearer but far more expensive. Also I liked the hot pink adding a touch of fashion to my scrubs without screaming that I'm trying to show off.

A good starter Stethoscope for professionals. It ear buds are soft. The item is durable and cute. I'm able to hear clearly and loud enough. I had a nurse check its sound quality for me and she said it was great to hear basic sounds but probably would not be great in detecting murmurs, etc. Overall I'm very happy with it as a Veterinary Assistant. Great value for your money.

Better that LITTMANN???

So I got a new job and needed a better one. I got the hot pink one and I enjoy this. Iv been using this for about 4 months now. No issues reported. I can hear when I listen to patients, and the other nurses I work with said they can hear this one better than their Littmann. It's light weight to carry and the part to listen it a heavy material so it feels luxurious but paid under $20!! Ha I will repurchase this if I need a new one, but how it's holding up it may be awhile! ! I highly recommend this one!!! Definitely a value for your money!! *UPDATE* I have been at my new job for almost 2 years now and still using the same one! Still can hear crystal clear, only downside was my scrubs rubbed off on it causing it to discolor but that's it!

Better than a litman!
This stethoscope is great! I hear clearer with this device than I do a litman. The only negative is the weight. It likes to slide off my neck but it's manageable! This kit comes with a name clip and extra parts. It's very durable, easy to use, comfortable in your ears, and gives plenty of length between you and the patient. I really enjoyed the different color options too!
