I was hesitant to buy this iron because I had bought one in another brand that didn’t put even much of a dent in my hair, I’m glad I did tho! This one gets VERY hot so don’t get too close to your scalp (ouch) but leaves great waves! Very impressed with it!

Love love LOVE this waver. I have to say with the price and the off brand, I was a little hesitant to order this, hoping it wasn’t cheap junk I’d have to send back. But I am SO happy with it. It makes gorgeous waves and they stay in for days. The only things I found a little confusing is the light, which never becomes solid to let you know it’s heated up. It just stays blinking a bunch of colors. Also the switch is a bit confusing. I don’t know if it was a mistake while making the one I have or not but when you move the button up you see the highest temp first (220) so anyone would assume that is the temp you have it on. And as you move the button up the numbers get lower (which is backwards). But in fact when you see the 220 at the first position it’s actually the lowest setting. So it’s just backwards. Realized this the hard way when the first time I used it it was much too hot and had that burnt hair smell 😝 Bir now that I know it’s not a big deal. So the labels are backwards but the heat goes high as you move the button up not the other way around. ... show more

I have naturally crazy curly hair. After I dried my hair, then brushed out the tangles I sectioned off my hair and started from root to tip. It took about 25 minutes because I’m new at this....but I love the tighter waves on this iron. The key is to making sure you have good product in your hair...I prepped with Aveda Nutri plenish leave in conditioner, then used Aveda Brilliant Universal Styling Creme before I blow dried. I like this hair waver because it has 5 barrels. I have very long hair and I can do my whole head in about 10 minutes. The temperature is easy to adjust on the handle and it heats up really fast. It also comes with a glove but I didn’t use it.

    • Easy to use and my hair looks great, even on the first try.
So easy to use. Due to illness I was losing hair quickly and considered a wig. By dividing my hair into layers before curling it looks much more fuller and the waves look better than I imagined they would. I was actually surprised I could do this myself on the first try.

Loved this iron! I’ve had curlers like this before and they were just ok but this one made BEAUTIFUL small waves. In between an old school crimp and a curl. It looked good on my 8yo and me. We use it a lot and it’s a new staple look in our house. ☺️☺️
