I just got this knife, and I love it. Yes, the handle is plastic - but it is very comfortable to grip and the knife maintains a good balance when opened. The blade (I chose black) is very sharp and sharp-looking, and I like the combo of the blue handle and the black blade. The opening mechanism is very smooth, though it takes a few reps to get it dialed in - true of any knife. It locks securely and easily. You need to make sure you don't close it on your fingers, true of any folding knife. Just like any knife, it gets tape residue on it if you use it to open boxes (Amazon should send you one when you join Prime - ha! - It's already opened a few boxes). As another reviewer mentioned, rubbing alcohol works well to remove, but you may have to soak it for a few minutes. I have owned a knife that was 10 times this much, and this is as good, if not better, as far as feel, size, looks, and function. The finger guard at the fold is reassuring that you won't accidentally slip the blade into your grip, much better than the pricey knife. It even came with a very sheik case and one of the most hefty cleaning cloths I've ever seen. All in all, a great knife and a great deal. Highly recommend. ... show more

Very nice ED. Light is really accurate for this knife. Handle materials utilized are excellent at supporting the function of this EDC knife. Are you going to baton your firewood within knife?, no, well maybe once. lol However for an unobtrusive, full-size blade and handle in an extremely hand friendly lightweight. This ones perfect. It's fine. Especially for the price. Very sharp out the box. Cuts well. The only thing to consider is the blade and body are thinner than you'd expect so for my hands personally it's just a little too "flimsy" feeling. I'm positive for an EDC with reasonable use and expectations it's a fantastic option especially for its price, and I may just have a bias to heavier built knives though. Tbh if the handle was a little thicker and heavier and the blade was a smidge thicker I'd probably love it , HOWEVER I understand the point of this knife is to be light , thin, and for light work and for those things it seems excellent. ... show more

Really like this blade. Comfortable handle, black oxide won't rust, flips open with one hand, closes easily, razor sharp out of the box but it does dull fairly quickly with use. Also very lightweight and slim design. My favorite budget EDC blade.

    • Great everyday carry, lightweight, stays sharp

I really like this knife. As of writing now, I have to retire this, as the locking notch at the end of the blade has worn down that it no longer locks open, but freely opens and closes. I bought this for the blade, like the color of the handle. Carrying this, it is lightweight, holds well in hand. Holding the release button it quickly pops open and close. With the flick of the wrist it locks open quickly, and holding blade edge down, the release button quickly folds the knife by gravity. Haven't cut myself yet in 2 years use. The blade has some wear and tear on it, but nothing detrimental to use, just the prettiness of the blade itself. I've only recently sharpened it, a year and a half and it's held up well to opening boxes, letters, simple cutting. Used it on a number of occasions to cut medications. Fine knife indeed. Lasted 2 years before the notch at the inside end of the blade wore down that it doesn't hold in the locking bar anymore. Constant use this may last shorter, limited use may last a few more years. Boxes every couple of days, letters 3 days a week, this has held well. ... show more

For the price, this knife is amazing! It came out of the box ready to rock and roll. Super smooth action, sharp and a button lock (my favorite). I have many knives of all price ranges, but this ready to do work and I won’t feel bad by testing its limits.
