When we first got Boris, our rescue Siamese, he had an unhealthy obsession w/ used q-tips he would pull out of the bathroom trash. Eeeew. Thankfully, with other stimulating activities, this habit greatly diminished. When I saw these, I mostly thought it would be a funny "in-family" joke. he played with them while the catnip smell was fresh, then they got kinda ignored for at least a month or more. But THEN....... He rediscovered these among his toys, and did some kicking of them. They're smaller than most of his other "kickeroo" type toys. Maybe they're more prey sized? But along the way, he found he could pick them up and carry them around. Bingo! He is now obsessed. Every evening around bedtime, he comes upstairs with us and plays with them. If someone is still downstairs, he "catches" the "giant swab" and carries it downstairs, yeowling loudly, Maybe he's trying to bribe the straggler to come upstairs by bringing him the prize? He will also have a little game with them in the middle of the night. He will then parade around the house with one in his mouth, loudly proclaiming his victory. But because his mouth is stuffed with the fuzzy swab, his loud 'Meezer yeowling is muffled. It's so darn funny that even when this happens at 2 am, my annoyance quickly becomes laughter. I'm actually here buying a second pack of them. Over the last few weeks, he has stashed or lost several, but is thrilled when I break out a "new" one and he has a giant swab to play with again. While they often magically reappear, I'm down to two new ones, so I'm here for more backups. I'm sure we'll find them wedged under the couch cushions, under the stove, or in the back of someone's closet. If your cat doesn't seem thrilled at first, give it time. I was very surprised that this toy was not played with much at first, but, now that our guy has figured out HOW he likes to play with them, they are a huge hit.

I don't usually pay this much for cat toys but thought these were cute. My two cats are older and aren't really into toys or catnip. I foster kittens and keep a big toybox for just them. I liked these because I think the kittens will be able to carry them around. I gave two to our cats and they played with them for a few minutes then they were done. I don't know if the catnip smell wore off that fast or what. They seem pretty sturdy, though.

Hall of Famer Lil Jack Morris the cat seems to like them. They are softer and kind of disposable. They are easily torn apart and that's what he seems to like about them. They are infused in cat nip as well. Good toy for the bin.

My cats will not carry them around, but they will swipe at them, when they are high, they are as big as a small to medium size dog toy, my cats still like to bring us toys at night, but they can't fit in there mouth, but they love the catnip in them, but you get plenty for the money. But if they can't carry it around, it's not worth the money, they need to make this product smaller for cats also they were made nice.
