I wear this watch constantly. I own a paint protection film / vinyl / tint shop, so I’m hands-on in the back pretty often and don’t want to risk scratching watches I actually care about. With the CIVO, I don’t even think twice—and that’s honestly the biggest win. Even though it’s around $20, this thing is genuinely beautiful. I’ve already gotten multiple compliments on it. Funny enough, I even accidentally kept it on for a date night and didn’t realize until we got home—it still looked sharp and didn’t feel out of place at all. Obviously the movement isn’t high-end and it’s only rated for 30m water resistance, but that doesn’t matter. I’m not swimming in it. It tells the time, shows the date, and looks way more expensive than it is. Huge bonus: the adjustable clasp strap—no jeweler needed. Ironically, I did take my Seiko to a jeweler to get sized, and he actually complimented the CIVO I was wearing. He was shocked when I told him where I got it and how much it cost. Totally worth it. Writing this review literally convinced me to buy the blue dial version too. ... show more

Horrible Horrible Horrible. Not necessarily the watch itself because as of this writing I have been unable to either adjust the wristband or get the watch going. You need a tool to adjust the wristband (not included). The instructions say: "if it is inconvenient for you to adjust it yourself,, you can take it to a local watch shop to adjust the size". There are also detailed instructions for the watch itself. Unless you are a mechanical expert DON'T BUY THIS WATCH. I'll need to take it to a local jeweler to get it operational and pay for their services too, doubling the initial cost to me of the watch. ... show more

I've been wearing this watch for a bit now, and overall I'm really happy with it. The first thing that stands out is the look-the green dial catches light really well and gives it a more premium feel than I expected for the price. It's simple but still gets compliments, especially in casual settings like going out or even just hanging with friends. The fit is comfortable ad the metal band feels solid enough for daily wear. It doesn't feel overly heavy, but it still has that "real watch" weight to it.
