Beautiful knife, it has great build quality, it looks great. Only fall back is that the flipper is a touch balky. You have to pop your wrist a little when using the flipper for the blade to snick into place. Which surprised me. Addendum: a drop of oil did the trick. Now the knife opens buttery smooth. I really like this knife. I was also looking at he Praxis, and decided on this one because the carbon black looked cook. And It is selling at a discount because it has been discontinued. This is a very nice, lightweight, and sharp knife. very sharp right out of the box and had a nice grip on the handle. the handle feels a little on the cheaper side but I cant complain because its a solid and strong knife.

Arrived in a very nice package with a cleaning cloth, a nylon zippered pouch , a few stickers too. Smooth action that “broke in” became real early after 5-6 opens. Super sharp straight out of the package. Nice feel in my hand, fits well in jeans pockets. Only complaint would be the length. Make this boy 1/2” shorter on the blade and case and would be a 5 star for sure. All in all great value for the buck ! ... show more

A very well made and versatile knife for the price. The blade length, cutting edge and handle length are nearly identical to my favorite kitchen knife, making this perfect for cooking chores while camping. Very sharp when new, it's too soon for me to know how well it will hold its edge, but from what I've read this is an excellent steel, so I expect it to perform well. The opening action is very smooth and easy with one hand, and there's no spring to compress when closing so it closes very easily with one hand, too. There are a couple small things I would change in a perfect world. The liner lock does not protrude as far as I would like to easily release the blade for folding. Also, the clip is an odd shape, so somehow it stops me from easily clipping and unclipping. Not at all deal-breakers but worth mentioning. ... show more

What an excellent knife. And at $42.50 it's one of the best bargains you can find for the quality you get. Razor sharp out of the box. Super comfortable in the hand. Excellent jimping. Smooth action. Solid lock up. No hot spots. I just got it and I already know it's one of my best knives. I got the black G10 with stainless blade. Looks very nice, and the blued liners give it some cool, classy pop. Could work as a gentlemens...or gentleladies knife...but I see it as an edc workhorse. I did switch out the stock shiny pocket clip for a shorter black one to carry the knife more discreetly. This knife is awesome, better than a whole bunch of knives that cost much more. Only wish I got one sooner. Now that I did, I am going to buy another. Tan, stainless, with blue liners looks good! Thanks Civivi for producing top notch affordable knives. I read a lot of positive reviews about CIVIVI knifes and decided to add one to my collection of folding (flipper) knives. What I like about this knife? Love the weight and balance holding the knife. I do prefer heavier knives and this one fits the bill. The knife is solidly built and appears flawless in construction. The thing that sold be is how easy it is to open with one finger. There is little resistance opening the knife, yet the blade is absolutely solid. Now my favorite flipper knife. And the blade is extremely sharp out of the box. I can’t find any negatives about this excellent knife and highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed. ... show more

I’m not the type to write reviews but I had to for this, I’ve bought 3 knives from this company and still have 2 and for 50-60 dollars it can’t get much better. The packaging is really nice and I bought one 2 days ago and have had one for 2 years, I got 2 of the baklash knives and the only issue with mine of 2 years is a tiny bit of blade play that is still less play than any gerber or anything of the same price range and when they are brand new. The blade play being so minimal shows me the quality which prompted me to buy more from this company, to get that blade play I used a hammer to pound it through multiple things, I’ve cut tires/seat belts all kinds of stuff and only had to sharpen my blade twice. Overall would recommend, smooth action, good looking, sharp/stays sharp. I have no complaints ... show more
