I bought this primarily to protect my car from the blasting Florida sun. It's a game changer...I'd read all reviews, the full product description, and the customer Q&A sections, so I went ahead and purchased an anchoring system that's a bit more condusive to the Florida panhandles weather. For about $50, I anchored all 8 feet to my concrete using 1½" masonaryanchors. To further stabilize it, I replaced the paracord that was included with ⅛" insulated wire rope that's connected to turnbuckles, and those are hooked to ¼" D-anchors. 100' of the wire rope is enough to run up one leg, through the grommet on the tarp, loop over the top of the frame, through the adjacent grommet, down the adjacent leg, and connect to the D-anchors that are mounted 21" from each leg (that's about a 15° angle, which is the minimum footprint required for optimal strength). I also reinforced every connection on the frame by installing self-tapping screws. I'm a 64 year old beer drinking woman, and I completed every aspect of this build with no help whatsoever, although I would suggest that if you don't have help, give it the thought required for a decent game plan before assembly...I'm not really your average older woman, but am far too anal to work with others who aren't! There was no damage or missing parts upon receipt and I'm truly loving the sun protection it provides, as well as not having to worry about the super-annoying splats of pine sap. Love it!!

I use it as my hot tub cover in the backyard. So far so good. Make sure you anchor it very well to the ground because the wind will pick it up and blow it away. When the snow builds up on it try to go out every hour with a push broom from underneath and gently knock the snow off with the brushes on the push broom start at the top and work your way down to keep the snow from sagging down on it. Other than that the thing is really cool. I gave it five stars I’ve only had it a couple of months. It was super easy to put up with one person. We knocked it out in about an hour.

It was EXCELLENT at its job protecting my car from the sun. Northern Cali is no joke in the Summer when its hot up here. This saved my car from being baked in the 118 degree weather this last august. Unfortunately - in the new storms coming through California - last night the canopy attempted to endure and was totally trashed. Ripped down the middle and the 30-40 hour mile gusts claimed victory. Not very surprised though. Is it inexpensive - yes, is it durable --- not too bad. don't expect more than a few inches of snow before it collapses. The pipe isn't that great. I had to move this one time this last summer and forgot to tie it down. we had a good windstorm and it literally picked up and flew over my explorer. the tarp received some abrasions rubbing over the ground that night. That pile of mulch in the right of the picture had been removed and the carport flopped around like a beached whale/dog on its back... on raw gravel. Soooo tonight going to buy a replacement. or a carport replacement cover of the same size... Apparently the City flee carport isn't being sold anymore.

Easy to assemble , the rope provided frays and easily breaks . The description says it’s durable even when it’s windy outside, that’s a lie because under 15 mph winds this hunk of junk folded in half . It’s such a pile of junk that the dog refuses to even pee on it. Maybe if it goes up into the air it can get shot down , I don’t know . Very unhappy with this purchase, the only one happy is the seller who’s getting east money from people.

2of the eyelets where broken and smashed. 2 of the clip’s that hold the vent windows where disformed. Missing leg stakes. Very easy to put up, did it myself!

The structure tubes are small and lightweight. Strong wind will bend them. The "Wind Ropes" are actually stretchy strings and sharp edges on the ground stakes will cut them.
