Have been searching for a good quality, good looking "everyday" watch that was reasonably priced (under $150). Found that this Citizen quartz checked all the boxes. Have had it for only two days but so far am very pleased. In two days it is accurate to the second, looks even better than pictured, perfect size for me (attractively large but not overbearing). Had the band sized at a jeweler for a few bucks and recommend doing so. Only negative is that the glow in the dark portions of the face don't stay illuminated for very long. Great everyday watch at a great price. Glad I picked this one. I discovered when you first set the date feature you need to pull the stem half way out and set it to the day prior to the current date. Pull the stem fully out and advance the time until it indicates the correct date (will then be midnight of the correct date. From there continue until you have set the correct time (remembering AM or PM). ... show more

I bought this watch, well, nudged my son to pick it out for him, for Father's Day because my husband enjoys watches. I knew he'd be aware of which watches are a good quality brand and almost purchased another before doing research. I came across this watch as an affordable option for a good quality watch. He is so happy with it. It's a great brand and my husband was thrilled. He commented that he can now stop having to adjust his other watch he was always wearing, as it wasn't keeping accurate time. Citizens are highly accurate, and he is very happy with this watch. It's very attractive and not too big looking on his wrist, as he's a smaller built gentleman - that can big a challenge with men's watches, they get humongous. The blue is a nice, unobtrusive blue, though I know he would have been happy if it were 'bluer'. Great decision for a purchase. He's happy which means I'm happy. ... show more

    • From my worst nightmare to my favorite watch

When I received this Citizen's watch, it was my worst nightmare. The watch face was NOT the blue as shown in the Amazon photo and I WANTED THE BLUE COLOR. Instead of returning it, I decided to wear this watch for a week. It's now been 20+ days and I am still wearing this watch. (I usually change watches every 3-4 days.) How can it be? The color combinations on this watch are mesmerizing. The surrounding bezel is a DARK blue and the watch face is black EXCEPT in certain light when it appears a VERY dark blue. What makes this watch so unusual are the white minute, hour, and second hands, plus the white, 5-minute bars, all of which are surrounded by gold, as these STAND OUT even in the dark.
