  • Great Watch, Great Price, and Stylish
Snatched this up for $167.39 from Amazon Warehouse deals. Only catch was it was missing the instruction booklet, which didn't matter because I just went to the Citizen website and downloaded the instructions. This is a great watch at a great price. I took it to my local jeweler (which you likely will have to do) to have a link and a half removed (which cost $8 and took less than 5 minutes) and now it fits perfect! I highly recommend. And for all those reviewers who are upset about it not being illuminated in some way, this product is more about style than anything. I have a Casio G-Shock Solar Atomic that I wear for utility/activity purposes, so I would recommend one of those watches if your top requirement is function. This is more a professional work/dress up/going out watch. In other words, this is my "grown-up" watch. For all of you salt-of-the-earth hipsters, this is a high quality analog watch. It actually has gears and moving parts. I recommend going to time.gov when you set it. ... show more

  • Sleek, Stylish, Good Looking, and the Watch is Nice Too
I've been a Fossil watch enthusiast for all of my teenage life, as well as the majority of my adult life. Recently, I've started experimenting with other brands and I have to say that I am in love. This watch is gorgeous. Very stylish. And I love the no battery technology (we'll see how long it lasts). Some people have commented that it's very hard to tell the time on this seemingly black on black watch. Although I have no trouble, I can see how it can be difficult for some people so buyers beware. The second-hand watch is not broken: it's for the chronograph; the analog stopwatch. There's a smaller dial on the bottom that keeps track of the seconds. Quick notes: - Stylish: looks great with smart work attire, suits, polos, and button-downs - No batteries needed - Good weight - Doesn't look good with tank tops ... show more

  • Worth every dime spent! A real no-brainer.
Love the style and eco-drive. No battery means not sticker shock on replacement batteries; $80 to $125 every two years or so for batts and new seals to keep it dry in side.

  • I hate to give it a 4
This is my second Eco-drive watch from Citizen. That should indicate how much I like them. I wanted it in black for times when I'm dressed more casual. I chose this one because the face colors/grays are subtle than white or a color. I've only had it a couple of days, but it seems to be functioning normally. All the functions work and it's fairly easy to see the dials in daylight. My 4 star rating is due to the lack of ability to read it in dimly lit environments. I knew this going in so I can't really complain but it is an issue that could be easily resolved by adding some luminescence to the hour/minute hands and possibly the end of the second hand. My other Eco-drive has it but it doesn't come in black and gray. In any case, I love the watch and like that it doesn't need batteries or winding. It's also not feather-light so I know it's there; I like that. ... show more

  • Stylish
This is a very classy looking watch. As mentioned. It is not luminous but that doesn’t concern me in the least. It has a larger face than the average men’s watch and is quite heavy compared to others. Still, a 5 star classic watch. Very happy with this purchase.

  • SMALL LINT INSIDE CASING! Citizen Eco-Drive!!
The media could not be loaded. I am very happy and very unhappy with this purchase. 1. The watch came on time which was great, but it came like someone had already opened it, took the plastic covering sheets off the watch, wore it for date night and sent it back. 2. Although it looked like it was admired already, the watch looked beautiful. I wanted this watch all damn year only to ONLY BE DISAPPOINTED!! 3. Wore the watch for a week to only find out THERE IS A SMALL WHITE LINT INSIDE THE WATCH!! 4. INSIDE THE MAIN CASING THERE IS A SMALL WHITE LINT!! I am not blaming AMAZON at all on this issue. but I am Very disappointed in Citizen! I thought their watches were impenetrable! Isn't that why they are "expensive'?! 5. Can't believe Citizen would sell me an expensive watch that isn't even worth the price I paid! I have G-Shocks that costed less that are basically worth the price of this Timepiece! 6. I will be contacting Citizen because I have registered the watch on their website. This is such a disgrace because now I'm guessing I'm going to have to spend MORE $$$ and time just to get this LINT fixed. *Overall view of the watch is beautiful, performs flawlessly. Love the blackness and the dark grey. The features are great, the small details are even better. *Will be updating ... show more
