So far seems well built and like it will take a beating. I like the offset crown and fact its solar powered. The 10bar/10atm/100m water resistance is a big plus and it looks fantastic. Wish the bezel compass wasn't just for looks, but it still is a nice and functional watch. Oddly there was no plastic peel offs on the crystal or underside when i opened my watch. I don't like metal bands that require links added/removed to adjust as this one did, so i put on a parachute elastic nylon band. The luminescent hands and markings are excellent as well. Been using it alot after being outside in daylight then it going dark, and the luminosity provided is very vibrant, lasting and noticeable. Provided an extra picture after only a shirt time outside that captures the luminosity output well in lower light. Its a very vibrant blue luminescent. Very nice watch. Great value for the money. Only negative is that it is not illiminescent. Hard to see in dark; hands or face dont light up. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Great watch. Avid citizen customer. Watch band is just large enough to wear but I will be adding an additional link to get it how i want it. Just using a generic donor band with similar links i found online. Band width is 20, not 22 mm.

Stylish practicality

This is my second citizen watch I also own the slightly smaller faced Solar watch with the army green canvas band. I wear that one every day because it’s a little bit lighter weight because of the smaller face. This one with the khaki band is also equally stylish just a little bit bulkier but still lighter than most watches on the market. I’m a guy that hates wearing watches, but thanks to the citizen watches I wear one every day for the last two years. The only negative I could try and find one would be that although it is luminous face it’s not going to show up well in the dark to tell time. Just depends on the ambient lighting. ... show more
