This watch has an industrial, modern, and minimalistic design that looks stunning in person. I am very glad I chose the orange dial over the yellow one. The build quality is excellent, and it does not feel too heavy despite the thickness. It fits very well. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be for improving quality the strap. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and glad I bought it after being on the fence. It looks punchy and premium for the price, even more so on sale. I did hear back from Citizen Customer service, so I upgraded their rating. Sounds like I need to wear the Citizen exclusively for a few weeks, then see how it does on the winder. Below is my Citizen journey: I purchased this watch on Amazon. Initially, I titled my review "Great Buy" and gave it five stars. However, I found that I've had to downgrade it as the month has progressed. Here's the issues: Upon receiving it, I followed the instructions for hand winding it prior to initial use. I wore the watch for several days, even at night as is my norm with all my watches, and no problem. I also own two Seiko automatic watches--a ten year old Prospex Diving Watch and a newer Sieko Sport 5. I have a watch winder that holds two watches so that the two that I'm not wearing can stay wound and keep time so that they are ready to go when I want to switch out watches. This works very well for the Seiko watches. However, whenever I put the Citizen automatic watch on the winder, it stops often. I've tried several approaches, such as flipping the switch on the watch winder to the most frequent rotatation cycle (though the Seikos do find on the less frequent rotation cycle). The Citizen watch still stops and loses time. I also tried hand winding it a bit more (another 20 winds). Still stops and loses a couple of hours every time it's on the watch winder. When I wear the Citizen, it doesn't seem to stop and stays wound. When I put it on the watch winder, however, (it has an orange face so I don't wear it for all occasions), it stops and loses time consistently. It's not the fault of the watch winder as my Sieko's can be on the watch winder for a week or more and never stop working. What's up with the Citizen automatic movement that makes it incompatible with watch winders? ... show more

I absolutely adore this watch. Overall, the retro style is absolutely magnificent. I got the orange blackstrap to match it. And had a good feeling to put it on the original bracelet!

Beware of ordering this watch from Amazon. My wife purchased it for me for my birthday and when I opened it, I found the watch case to be completely empty. Amazon sent a replacement, but that case is empty as well, and shows obvious signs of being tampered with. Amazon and Citizen need to get their act together. If they do, I will update my review to reflect the actual product, assuming I actually receive it. ... show more

Probably better if in eco mode. The watch is automatic. You have to wear it all the time to insure that it keeps moving, otherwise it has to be reset on a continual bases. You can't beat it as swimming/diving watch.

This watch does have height on the wrist, as does most any watch made for 200m depth pressure. It is not obnoxious or really a problem, except when trying to snake my hand down to retrieve a dropped cell phone that went between the drivers seat and the armrest. Setting the time, date and day of the week is easy. Just check the directions for DOW and date if there is any confusion. The face color has garnered positive comments. And it is keeping accurate time after a week. This is my first automatic movement watch and I am quite interested in the accuracy. The box was interesting, it looks like a scuba tank. You pull up and expose the watch. Neat, but overall I would have been fine with less packaging of a standard box. ... show more

The face looked amazing, but it's an absolute brick on your wrist. Way too thick to be useful. Ended up returning the watch
