I spent several weeks looking at entry level watches. I looked online and went to a variety of jewelry stores. I looked at Citizens, Seiko's, Tissot, Hamilton, Luminox, and a few others. I am not a watch collector, or aficionado; but I wanted a quality watch that would look good and last for a long time. I knew I wanted a sapphire crystal, mid-size (not a large oversized case), I was okay with high-quality quartz as it takes less maintenance than an automatic. I'm really happy with this Citizen Promaster MX. The size is perfect at 43mm. In-person, the face is "darker" than in the pictures; the green is nicely subtle and yellow accents really don't stand out - which makes the watch look a little classier but still have a nice sporty appearance. Setting the watch is certainly not intuitive; but Citizen has a very video that walks you through everything step by step. I'm very pleased with it and will be happy with it for a long time. ... show more

Watch arrived in perfect condition. Wtach looks super great and sturdy a great sport look to it. Best thing is that I don't have to change the battery, ever, since os light powered. Alarm, second time zone, perpetual calendar and chronograph, are some of the featured of this watch. But...instructions to set the watch can be complicated for someone that is not used to all this complications and features. Bracelet is tough with button clasp and links are a breeze to remove for seizing. My first impression for this watch is very positive. With all the features you won't need another watch; at least for awhile. I think is an entry level high tier. You going to get a lot of complements. I will be updating this review with time to assess battery life and toughness. ... show more

The watch operation is seriously odd. Setting it required reading the manual and watching a YouTube video several times. It gets easier but it’s bizarre. The case and band have sharp edges, at $300+. It has a chrono, kind of, but better off just watching the second hand. The Lume is just meh compared to other $300+ Citizens. Looks like a rotating bezel, doesn’t rotate. Dual time zone, but not fast or simple checking other time zone. Keeping it, I want to like it, we’ll see if it grows on me after I work on the sharp edges. ... show more

The watch is used but I could not tell it from new. Came with all the paper work and packageing.......................Update 6 months later the watch has stopped working. I'll have to take it somewhere for repair. I'm sure there is no warranty because it was used. I should have stayed with the new product. You live you learn. ... show more
