These eco drive watches with the sapphire crystal are almost indestructible. I just have one watch and wear it for work and leisure. I'm hard on equipment and my last two Citizen watches lasted many years. There is one precaution, the demise of my last watch was when I hit it right on the stem knob on the edge of my truck door and broke it off. It evidently did internal damage and the watch would not run again. This particular model has two pieces of metal on each side of the stem that protect it from direct hits. You can't beat this for the money. I just wish it was available with a dark face. ... show more
