What I like are the large numbers and size. It’s not bulky and it’s not small. The date window is annoyingly small and the strap could be a centimeter or two longer.

The watch is accurate. Easy to read if there is light. Love the large dial. The only problem is that in low light situations, the dial is hard to read. The numbers are not lumed. Why make such a legible dial without Lume? Makes no sense to me. There is Lume on the hands but not very good Lume. When I received the watch via UPS, the box that the watch was packaged in from the sender was shotty and looked to be packaged by a 6-year-old. None-the-less, the product was and is very nice. It's very reliable and easy to set the time and date. The time is (very) easy to read while the date may take a moment or two to comprehend- purely because of the small sizing and your eyes need to adjust to it.     • Simple, quiet watch doesn’t need a battery
This is my first Eco-Drive watch. I set it to the US atomic clock a week ago when it hasn’t lost or gained a second yet. It’s very comfortable and the leather band is a good fit style-wise, I’d keep the original band if I wasn’t planning on getting it wet so frequently. The movement of the seconds hand is nearly silent. I’m barely able to hear it with the watch pressed against my ear. I do wish the crown screwed down, that the font on the numbers 12, 3, 6, and 9 was a little smaller (preferably consistent with the others), and that the model number was engraved on the back of then watch (Citizen puts the serial number but not the model number on the back of the watch). ... show more

I think I may have a record for having the most Citizen watches. My collection currently stands at 32. I do have three Seikos, one Rolex (from my father) and two Wenger. The reason why I would buy Citizen only is because they keep perfect time and because of Eco-Drive. No more batteries or the expense of replacing them. Lastly, I tested the reliability of keeping time by setting it exactly with my cell phone. I placed it by the window to keep it charged then, after 6 months, I rechecked it. As far as I can tell it looked to be about 20 seconds behind. Citizen makes all kinds of watches, sport, diving and a great selection of dress watches. Don't buy anything else. ... show more
