The mattress topper is great. Unboxing is simple as it is rolled up in a small box, folded into a third of the width. Similar to other "mattresses in a box", it expands to full size shortly after cutting the plastic packaging. The size is exactly correct, as my Queen topper fit perfectly on my queen mattress. It actually added the perfect amount of height to my mattress and my sheets fit perfectly now. The elastic anchors on the corners are great to make sure the topper does not move around for anyone who tosses and turns. Side note: the original creases in the middle of the mattress (first picture) disappear as the mattress expands and there is no lumpiness felt. I sleep very warm and the main reason for getting this item is for the cooling aspect. I was able to sleep well on it for multiple nights already. With the topper covering and my own sheets on top, there wasn't a very cold feel, but I wasn't expecting that either especially with multiple layers being between myself and the cooling layer. Simply not getting too warm while laying in one spot was good enough for me and definitely help me sleep comfortably. Perhaps combining this with cooling sheets (which I have for another King sized bed) may be a perfect combination. Lastly, it is important to point out this has a firm feel to it. If you need the extra support compared to a pillow-top or soft bed, this topper would be excellent for you. There is a very good memory foam feel, which does not interrupt the sleep of anyone laying on the other side of the mattress. I had added this topper to an already memory foam mattress, but using it on a traditional spring mattress would similarly be a nice addition go get a memory foam feel. The slight down side which is also noted on many other mattresses is when you lay on the very edge of the mattress. The slight compression of the mattress will lead to a small sensation of leaning towards the edge. Leaving at least 6 inches from the edge makes that sensation go away. Overall, great mattress for anyone who sleeps warm and needs a firmer memory foam feel!

Mattress topper comes folded into thirds, rolled up and vacuum sealed. As soon as the vacuum bag is opened, the mattress fluffs up pretty quickly. Once it is open and fully expanded, it is pretty light weight. When I put it on our mattress, it actually hangs over the edges about an inch on each side. Normally this would be great, however this topper has an elastic strap on each corner to secure it to the mattress and because the mattress overhangs so much, the elastic slips off rather easily. This is easily solved once a sheet is placed over both the mattress and the topper. The topper is very soft and improves the comfort of our older mattress. The cooling feature actually does work as well. I usually sleep very hot and this does make a difference. Overall, I think this mattress topper is a good value for the money and functions as I would expect.

Our current mattress is an all in one hybrid mattress (AKA no box spring). We have had it for about 7 years and it is reaching the end of its useful life. It has a hump in the middle that has formed in between where my wife and I each lay. This mattress topper has done a great job of adding a nice thick layer to even back out these differences and buy us additional longevity out of our aging mattress. I gave it 5 stars over all because I think it is high quality, thick, and breathable. I gave it 4 stars on comfort because I believe the firmness level is great, but my wife feels it is a little softer than her ideal (and the underlying mattress). Also, it is great that even with adding this 3 inch topper to my mattress deep pocketed sheets actually fit better for me than without the topper. Before there was always some sag if I bought the 16-18 inch deep pocketed sheets, but not big enough if I bought standard sheets. This mattress topper does a great job of filling in the deep pocketed sheets with my particular mattress. I recommend this topper if you are looking to add comfort to a new mattress that isn't exactly meeting your comfort profile or potentially to even out unevenness in a worn mattress.

I decided to add a little cushion for my current bed that has a very slim mattress and this topper was exactly what I was looking for. I like my bed not too high so I can climb in and out easily. Adding this three inch topper did exactly what I was looking for. Putting it on top of my current old mattress really made the entire bed more luxurious. It is like getting a brand new bed without paying the high cost or replacing the entire set. The packaging came in a smaller box, compressed and air tight packed. When you first open the topper, you will feel that there is a crease right in the middle as the manufacturer or shipper had to compress it as much as possible. You may find it a bit uncomfortable at first, but the topper settles itself after about a day or so. Remember, before you start complaining about the topper and plan to return the product, give it about a few days. This isn't the plushiest topper you will find. It is only 3 inches thick so expect that it provides enough memory foam/plushiness. I am very content with the product and will enjoy my "brand new mattress" without having to over pay.
