This 4 1/2" circular saw is a great addition to any tool collection! It is a convenient size for most homeowner "Do It Yourself" projects. Easy to handle. The saw is very well built, powerful for its size, and sturdy. It comes with a built in LASER alignment light, a metal guide that is accurate (matches my tape measure marks exactly), depth adjustment, and angle adjustment. The package includes six blades (which are easy to change), an Allen wrench that fits all of the adjustment points, and a carrying case that is perfect in size, with room for safety goggles as well. The price is well below the "name brands" such as Rockwell and DeWalt. The kit also includes some items that the established brands leave out. This is one of the very best tool purchases that I have ever made!

I love that it comes with a lot of blade options, but the blade depth isn’t enough to really do much. It struggled hard trying to cut through dual material at 1/2 inch. Not sure it has the power for plywood either. Probably great for 1/4 inch or less.

I have used this saw on my home improvement project. Its is working perfectly. Smooth running motor. Power output is as expected. With the correct blades will cut cleanly through dense wood boards,but at slower forward speeds. This saw is easy to handle and the Laser alignment makes work easier. I would recommend this saw for DIYers and Skilled Craftsman. Very Good value as packaged from Dovaman.
