Ok, I have to give this 5 stars for being exactly what is described. These shears are weighty, and silent, and presented well in a nice zippered carry case with some extras. There is a reason professionals spends hundreds of dollars, if not thousands, on professional quality shears. Their livelihood is dependent on working those tools on hundreds of customers, day in and day out, for years, without needing sharpened. And a professional's shears must be impeccably sharp to deliver cuts with no choppiness or bend. It's a very precision and specific application. So considering the cost of these shears, these are still going to be useful in some situations, and they are surprisingly well made for the price. They have an adjustable tension and a fixed tang on each pair. For example: A pro would not use their $$$ shears on synthetic hair, (wigs, extensions, etc.) so these would be great for that person. Also for someone who wants to groom and trim their pet's hair, or their children's bangs between cuts. An at-home user would get a good deal of use from a set like this, as would a barber or cosmetology student, or even someone needing a set to use while their other shears are being sharpened. They are weighty and feel good in your hands, where a pro may not appreciate the weight after her 10th client of the morning. Ask your professional to feel his or her shears, to compare the weight and sleekness of their tools. Anyway, you get the idea. These are not a thousand dollar set of shears for an unbelievable price, they are a good valued and well made set of shears for the price they are offered at. No complaint. These arrived quickly and are accurately described by the seller.

So what do you get here for your money? This is a very nice groomer's kit with... One pair of scissors One pair of Thinning Shears One little plastic fine-tooth comb A cleaning cloth Very nice zippered storage bag to stash the whole lot in I groom our own pets and all have profuse coats and one with a long show coat. This appeared to be a great value for acquiring some spare tools - as long as they turned out to be sharp, so I am nabbed them. Happily these blades are very sharp and both scissors and shears are beefy in the construction dept. too, made of quality materials. Like them as well as my more expensive shears and that is no joke. The action is smooth and easy for the thinners and I think the dogs are pleased as well. Five Stars.

My wife has been cutting my hair at home for years and we are always looking for high quality shears. This set by CIICII fit the bill well. They are weighty with a quality feel to them. The action is very smooth and razor sharp. The set includes a carrying pouch for easy storage. I think these are worth the full retail price, but they do seem to be offered on discount frequently. I would highly recommend them!

The plain scissors worked well for me for a quick bang trim. They are sharp enough to cut hair without frizzing or exacerbating split ends. I love the case that they come in for clean, safe storage. Each pairs of scissors has a plastic sleeve as well for added protection. The case includes a comb and a cleaning cloth. The scissors are kind of stiff so make sure you adjust them with the screw if needed. For a straight trim, they were fine out of the box but for any fancy schmancy like "open and close" or texturizing you may need to adjust them. The screw is very difficult to adjust, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I didn't use the thinning shears as my hair is already thin enough but did play around with them to test how they feel in my hands, and found them similar to the plain scissors.

I am a self-taught amateur hair cutter and appreciate these so much! I started cutting my partner's hair during Covid and still cut it multiple times a year. I use clippers for the sides, but the top ends up requiring scissors, which till now I didn't have professional ones. I had been using what I thought was okay but I can totally tell the difference. Those were dull, did not cut true to what I was intending. These cut exactly as expected! They are sharp and are literally heavier in weight. Not too heavy, but you know you're getting quality. I love that it came with two pairs, to account for both types of cutting. These came in a very nice storage case. Overall I am happy with these and would recommend them- I wish I had more expertise to comment further to more experienced users but for my general use I am very impressed and wish I bought these sooner.

I use these often to trim my hair, and they’re super sharp. Really great quality and very precise. They’re comfortable to hold, even during longer cuts, and they don’t pull or damage the hair. I’ve used them on both dry and wet hair with no issues. They came nicely sharpened and even included a protective case nice touch. Great for home use or professional. Definitely a solid purchase. Highly recommended for personal or professional use

This set of scissors is really high quality and comes with a case to keep everything together and organized. I cut my son's hair at home and these scissors make it so easy to trim his hair without snagging. They cut cleanly and efficiently, and you can adjust the tightness with the screw to your own preference. For the price of one hair cut, this set allows me to cut his hair every other month! The size and shape is very comfortable to use, and it makes me feel like a professional! Overall really happy with this set of scissors.
