a good idea for beginner turners or those that don't want to sharpen gouges all the time. Not as versatile as a gouge - like turning a radius but effective on most of a spindle turners basic needs. performs OK on roughing jobs to get to a round blank.

I have used the bits and they work well. BUT the screws are missing from the shipment - they were shown on the sales sheet. They are not as hardened as the original carbide bits I have been using on the Easy Wood tools.

Purchased this bit for one project that requires four 15” long 3/4” diameter half round grooves. This bit cut well and I’m very satisfied with it. Would give this bit five stars but I would more time using the bit to see how it holds up over time.

...the screws don't fit the Easy Wood Tool. Just reuse the original screw. Not as sharp as other cutters, dulls rather quickly. For the money they'll suffice.
